LMS User Guide

● In this LMS user guide for all users you find screen shots for key actions in the LMS.

● This section shows general LMS actions like finding and registering for learning courses and events available to all Axis CLC users.

● It also shows some additional functionalities for line managers.

Logging in to the LMS

1. To log into the LMS for the first time, log into People XD first with the usual password

2. Top left on your screen you find a button called ‘access’

3. Click it to open a choice of app symbols; select the app called ‘Learning’ with a light bulb symbol.

4. This will add a shortcut link to your People XD homepage which you can use to access the LMS

Your Learner Home page (1 of 2)

1. The Home Button takes you to your Learner Home page.

2. On this page you will find the learning that you have started, that has been assigned to you, has a due date coming up, or a learning event that you have registered for. In this example, David has started an Asbestos Awareness course which is showing on his learner home page.

3. The button ‘Finder’ opens an internal library of online learning courses and bookable events.

4. The circle with your Initials (or your picture if you have added one) leads to two further areas: your learning ‘portrait’ and ‘my certificates’.

Your Learner Home page (2 of 2)

As you are using the LMS, your Learner Home page will display several courses and events:

1. Any current learning that you have started or that is due to be completed.

2. ‘Jump back in’ – any learning modules you have started but not completed. This is just a reminder about courses you have explored, not the list of those that you must complete.

3. ‘Recently assigned to you’ – courses and events that you have been invited to complete or attend, whether they are mandatory or optional

4. ‘Your registered events’ – specific scheduled learning events that you are registered to attend

5. ‘Recently added’ shows courses that have been added to the library – this is just for your information about new learning available. If any of these have been assigned to you, they would appear under row 1, 2, 3 or 4 of your home page

Your Learner ‘Portrait’ (1 of 2)

To reach your ‘Learner Portrait’ page, go to the circle symbol with your initials (or your picture if you have added one) and select ‘Portrait’

1. To reach your ‘Learner Portrait’ page, go to the circle symbol with your initials (or your picture if you have added one) and select ‘Portrait’

2. Select ‘Achievements’

3. This will show the titles of your completed learning courses or attended events with completion date

Your Learner ‘Portrait’ (2 of 2)

1. If you select ‘For later’ in your Learner Portrait…

2. … you will see courses and events that you have marked as ‘for later’, e.g. when browsing our course library.

This is your personal note pad listing courses and events you wanted to revisit at some point without deciding whether or not you want to complete them.

My Certificates (1 of 3) – Viewing Certificates

1. To access your stored Certificates on the LMS, click on the round symbol with your initials (or your picture if you have uploaded one) and select ‘My Certificates’.

2. You will see all your certificates that have been stored in the LMS. In this example we see a certificate for completing Asbestos Awareness which was achieved on 3rd February 2026.

This is an example of a completed eLearning course in the LMS, if included in the course, a certificate will automatically awarded to you upon completion and stored here.

My Certificates (2 of 3) – Downloading Certificates

1. To download a certificate, hover with your mouse next to the certificate you want to download. The download symbol will appear to click.

2. A download window will open and you can open the downloaded certificate file (in this example a pdf file with the Asbestos Awareness certificate).

3. If you want to download all certificates at once, click the three dots in the menu and select ‘download all certificates’.

4. In that case another window will open for you to allow download of multiple files.

Finding a Training Course (1 of 3)

1. To find an available training course you can select the button ‘Finder’ from your Learning Home page.

2. This will open an internal Library of courses and events, organized in different categories to help you with your search.

Categories may change over time, and specific courses and events may be listed in more than one category.

3. In this example, we are looking for something supporting our career development and open that category.

Finding a Training Course (2 of 3)

1. You find the available courses in this library category. If you are interested in ‘Workplace Diplomacy’, you can click on the course to read further information.

2. You can see this is categorized as ‘course’ and you will achieve a certificate upon completion.

3. You can see the course modules (eLearning) and the key takeaways.

4. If you want to start the course, simply click ‘Start’. Usually, you can pause progress and continue at a later time.

Finding a Training Course (3 of 3)

1. If you want to recommend a course to someone else in the organization, and the course is enabled for this, you can click the ‘share’ button.

In this example, you want to share ‘Workplace Diplomacy’ which you have found in the library.

2. This will open another window in which you can search for the individuals by typing their name or scrolling down the list of registered LMS users.

You cannot share with someone not registered as internal user on the LMS.

3. Confirm sharing by clicking the ‘Share’ button.

4. This will trigger an email notification to the person / people you want to share this course with with a link to access the course.

Registering for an Event (1 of 3)

1. If you want to register for a scheduled event, like a training workshop, that has been published in the LMS, you can find it in the Library.

2. In this example, you want to register for ‘Test Event E4’ and select the date that is most convenient for you.
