What were you doing immediately before joining us? I was the Director of Safety and Resilience at Abri Group responsible for occupational health and safety, landlord safety compliance and business continuity. I was also seconded to Octavia Housing when Abri agreed to merge with them in May 2024 to lead the resident relations and block recovery following the Elm Road fire in Wembley in January 2024.
Previous experience? I have a diverse career background. I was in the Army (Royal Army Medical Corp), I’ve worked for the Police Service, and FTSE 100 and 250 companies covering media, utilities and industrial B2B services.
Plans for the merged business in outline? Five days with the business and I’m still working to understand the foundations we have, but from what I can see, my Directorate has a great service offering for the business and our clients and the challenge is to make it even better.
How will your plans improve our business? Continually improving our safety, health, environment and quality standards will help Axis CLC to win and retain more contracts.
Goals for the business? I aim to deliver an enabling, proactive and digitally advanced Directorate which sets exemplary standards in the sector and adds even more
