Haus am Kleistpark Senior | Fall 2017 (Study Abroad) Professor Rolf Backmann GrunewaldstraĂ&#x;e 6-7, 10823 Berlin, Germany Near the center of Berlin, the SchĂśneberg district Office of Art stands with obvious destruction. The once Royal Botanical Garden is now used by artists and musicians to display their work. For this project we were to complete the destructed portion of the museum and to create an addition for studios and displays. The idea was to give the building a presence in context and to bring the site back to life. This way I could make the historic building stand out once again.

AXIS Dance Company Junior | Spring 2017 (Comprehensive) Professor Christopher Harp Fellsway Bridge, Medford, MA 02155 On the banks of the Mystic River, adjacent to the Fellsway bridge, there is a plot of land consumed by nature. This space gives access to the Mystic River Reservation and serves as green space for the city. In teams of two, we were to design a dance studio that consisted of enabled and disabled dancers. The goal was to design a building that blended in with nature but still had a presence on site and to the road without overpowering the site.

Sensory Experience Museum Junior | Fall 2016 Professor Troy Peters 90 Smith Street, Boston, MA 02120 Behind the Mission Hill Church stands an abanded theatre known as St. Alphonsus Hall. Once used by the church it is now to be turned into a musuem for the public. For this project we were to design within the existing theatre without modifying the exterior too drastically. The idea was to adapt to the building and to form something brand new that would bring life back to the site. The goal for my design was to bring the site from dense to delicate.

Brattle Street: Architects Walk Freshman | Fall 2014 Professor Mark Klopfer 44 Brattle Street, Cambridge, MA 02138 In Cambridge, MA there is a place tucked away from the view of the general public. It acts as a shortcut and a getaway from the busy streets of Cambridge. Known as the Architects Walk, it takes advantage of the landscape and the vegetation of the area. For this project we were to design a structure that could act as an experience and a place of rest. From this we learned how to approach a design problem and work in a limited amount of space while creating a new place.

Technical Drawings Throughout the past four years I have had the oppurtunity to develop knowledge of different building systems (HVAC, passive, lighting, structural, etc.) as a part of my education and at individual firms. Collected here are a few techincal drawings that show off some of my knowledge regarding building systems and technologies.
