America is justifiably proud of its air force . . . but for sheer chutzpah, loads of courage, and a determination to succeed, it’s hard to beat the Israel Air Force.
It was founded on May 28, 1948, shortly after the Israeli Declaration of Independence.
But, how was it founded?

“You need me?”
“Yeah, we need you right away!
George Lichter, Army Air Force. . . “I had this flight jacket I often wore. They told me to bring that and my log book to prove I was a pilot. The possibility of what the Arabs could have done. And
George Lichter, today
they talked about “what Hitler did . . . is gonna be nothing to what we’re gonna do to you!”
Y’know, you talk about 600,000 Jews . . .and surrounded by 15 million Arabs . . . I
