Activity Overview
o The group divides into 2 opposing tribes and numerous subteams within each o First, teams create their own bespoke tribal regalia o Dressed to impress, each team then rotates through a circuit of ‘quests’, competing head-to-head with teams from the opposing tribe o Points accumulated by the teams contribute to their tribe’s total score o In the closing ceremony teams face off for a Haka showdown and the winning tribe announced o Strategy is key to success as the rules enable teams to play to their strengths, resting chosen players during some challenges in order to reserve strength for their preferred quests

Activity Overview

o Participants create unified music with a lightweight, hollow, colour-coded plastic tube called a Boomwhacker, which are tuned to musical pitches by length o Striking their tubes creates musical notes when a coloured block hits a key in the visual interface o As the event progresses, the pace and complexity grow; blocks move faster, and teams respond more vigorously to keep the rhythm building to an uplifting crescendo o Requiring involvement from all individuals and collaboration as a group, this team building activity nurtures openness and teamwork

Activity Overview


o The activity consists of 3 parts:


1. First a common start for all,
2. Then you’ll work in teams - the tasks are found on each teams' tablet


3. Finally, there is a joint finale o The outcome for each challenge is always binary and absolute; you can either succeed or fail. o Success in a round earns players points. o Fail and you lose points, but it doesn't mean elimination. o The winning Squad will be the team with the most points at the end of the game. o They will be the ones that managed to leverage each other’s strengths best.

Activity Overview

o Prior to the event, a painting is designed that reflects your key values o Each team has a blank canvas, a part of the whole painting o Working with design information each team paints their canvas o They soon realise that they must collaborate with the teams on all sides of their canvas in order for the final artwork to have continuity o Once time is up, participants move to a separate area while the big canvas is constructed o With a countdown from participants, The Big Picture is revealed to thunderous applause and delight
