OUR MISSION
Awamaki collaborates with the greater Ollantaytambo community to create economic opportunities and improve social well-being.
The Fall 2014 collection was created by resident designers Rhonda Braun, Ivy Thompson, Jennifer Allison, and Tanni Xu. The collection was inspired by traditional designs specific to the region and local architecture. Resident designers work side-by-side with members of our artisan cooperatives to exchange ideas and create products that bridge the gap to international consumer markets creating a sustainable source of income for women seamstresses, weavers, spinners, and knitters; and their families and communities.
