The Christian University of Southern Indiana Family is honored to be presenting an occasion that recognizes the work of individuals who contribute to the lives of the people in their communities. Our nominees are chosen by the people around them who see, first-hand, the fruits of their labor, their passion for serving others, and the sacrifices they make for the benefit of mankind. We are encouraged that humanity is not lost. We are excited to shed light on those who illuminate their communities and bring more light into the world. Christian University of Southern Indiana will be presenting our selected recipients with an Honorary Doctorate degree of Humane Letters. Therefore, our goal is to honor deserving individuals, in their community, for their service. CUSI will also be recognizing 50 students who have been selected to receive a scholarship. These scholarships will cover 100% tuition, totaling $265,000.00 in awards for such students to enter into any one of our 2year Certificate to Degree programs. That means that these 50 students will receive a scholarship award of $5300.00, and for that, CUSI and the students THANK YOU in advance for your support. Dear Love Thy Neighbor Honorees, We are so excited about your participation in the Love Thy Neighbor Awards Banquet presented by our school, Christian University of Southern Indiana. This is a preview of our Servant Leadership e-magazine for our upcoming SPECIAL EDITION that will feature you, along with all of the other Love Thy Neighbor Award recipients. The speakers at this event will be Dr. Richard Johnson, PhD, Dr. Hazel Valeria, and Dr. Shane Lamar. The complete e-magazine will be emailed out to over 100,000 readers. With the event being just around the corner on January 25, 2020 in Stockton, CA, we are excited to shine a light on you and award you the Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters. Please be reminded to submit the following by Monday, January 20th: • Brief biography of 500 – 1000 words (1 bio that encompasses both for couples) that should include the following information: • Full name • Church/Organization association • Community involvement • 1 Headshot (for couples & singles, alike) • Attire: semi-formal, black & gold • Men – suit • Women – full-length dress Honorees, please let us know if your church, organization, or family members need additional tickets. Tables and tickets for this are running out and there are only a few seats left. Tickets are $150.00 and tables are $1000.00 (for 8). For those students receiving a scholarship and want their family or friends to attend, there is a student rate. Please feel free to call 866.306.5644.
