A MESSAGE FROM THE BISHOP Dear Reader, I greet You in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. SAVED! publication of IASNF is happy that you are a part of this organization and a member of the Body of Christ. As our name declares, we are saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Spirit. We want to encourage the Body of Christ to grow stronger in the Lord each day through prayer, praise, study of His Word, and fellowship with the saints. We strive to not only help to strengthen those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we are fervently helping and praying that those who are lost will soon be found so that they too will declare salvation and belonging to the Savior, Christ Jesus!
I feel so blessed every time someone joins the I Am Saved Now Fellowship, becomes a follower of our subscription, and especially when a spiritual leader such as a pastor, apostle, prophet, minister or preacher joins us. We are strengthened when God’s people come together to join forces bringing their anointing, their talents, their churches, and their resources.
I believe that are assembling together helps us to build one another up to bring about love, encouragement and a security that you are never alone and never having to feel alone. Unfortunately, we sometimes feel this way in spite of our personal relationships with Jesus Christ. We particularly feel this way when it seems like we are all alone doing the work of the Lord.
Child of God, know that we are praying for you everyday and that we love you. God loves you so much that He promises to never leave you nor forsake you. The Psalmist wrote that he once was young and now he is old; But he has never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread. Dear brother, dear sister, the promises of God are for you. Know that God is taking care of you.
In this issue of SAVED!, we just want to remind you that you are never alone, God loves you and that all of your needs are met. He has a calling on your life that is tailor-made just for you. We encourage you to walk into that anointing, to be obedient to His word, and to be patient for your breakthrough.
This message is for everyone who will receive it. We especially encourage our leaders...All of you who are bishops, pastors, prophets, apostles, and ministry leaders. We want to know that we are here for you knowing that we need encouragement and someone to lean on just as our parishioners do.
I thank you for your being a part of us. You are invaluable and we praise God for you. We praise God for all of your support and we look forward to seeing you as we grow in our endeavors. Praises to the King!

I DECIDE TO STOP DIABETES® DAY
COVER STORY
What is ID Day? November is American Diabetes Month® and a time to communicate the seriousness of diabetes and the importance of diabetes prevention and control. In concert with other American Diabetes Month activities, on November10,2013,the American Diabetes Association engages churches across the country to celebrate ID Day at Church, a nationwide movement to Stop Diabetes.®
Why FaithFaith-based Organizations? On ID Day, the American Diabetes Association mobilizes churches in the African American community on a national level. Approximately 13 million African American households can be reached directly or indirectly through the church. The typical Black Church has an average attendance that is about 50% greater than the average church and Black Churches are a trusted source of information for their community.
The Reach of ID Day— Day—A CrossCross-Country Community Rally Churches of all sizes may join in. Many congregations answer the call to action by creating an ID Day Signature Event such as: Hosting a week of prayer around diabetes. Creating a sea of red—have everyone wear red corsages or hats or handkerchiefs. Setting up a time to walk as a team—and have everyone wear red baseball caps! Releasing red balloons at noon on ID Day. Addressing diabetes from the pulpit and via bulletin inserts.
Nearly five million African Americans have diabetes. African Americans are almost twice as likely to have diabetes compared to the general population. African Americans experience higher rates of serious complications of diabetes: heart disease, blindness, amputation, and kidney disease.

I DECIDE TO STOP DIABETES® DAY Multiple, Simultaneous Events Each year, millions of individuals participate in events leading up to ID Day and ID Day activities. The Association provides scripted messages for church event coordinators to share with the members of their congregation. The Association also offers a variety of community programs with scripted lesson plans, PowerPoint slides, targeted handouts, health education materials, and access to other resources needed to get community members going. Local representatives of the American Diabetes Association help provide additional guidance about ID Day, American Diabetes Month, and Project POWER workshops. They help communities tailor activities to meet the needs of individual churches and communities.
The Foundation for a LongLong-Term Rapport ID Day churches share successes by sending short descriptions of events and photos. And, in addition to getting input into how their ID Day events were received, the American Diabetes Association asks participants to provide contact information so we can keep them engaged and reach out to them about future events and activities.

Our Leadership Speaks About What he Believes
Within the various circles that he finds himself in, from streets to the boardroom, Bishop is asked the same question often. It may be formulated differently from all of the different people he interacts with. But the answer always has the same foundation of how he believes, what he believes and who he believes in. The following outlines Bishop Andrew Watkins and what he believes, what his convictions are, and how it has propelled him to do the work God has given him to do. As Bishop Watkins speaks, he always starts off quoting the Word of God. In this instance he states, “The Bible says in I Corinthians 12:5, ‘4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all.’ It is the purpose of the I Am Saved Now Fellow ship (IASNF) to identify and recognize the men and women who are leading the Body of Christ. This recognition will serve to unify them and connect them to bring about a cover ing, fellowship, growth, development and shared resources. We strive to be an ecumeni cal community with an interdenominational and international demographic.” Ultimately, what Bishop Watkins believes is that there must be a relationship with Christ in order to have a true connection with the rest of the ecumenical body. He says, “I believe that God will strengthen us as He unifies us for His glory.” by D. J. Watkins. Chief Editor

Dear Heavenly Father,
Your Word in Romans 10:9 says, “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that He was raised from the dead, you will be saved.” So Father, I come, humbled before you with a sincere heart, confessing with my mouth and believing in my heart that You died and rose again for me. Lord please forgive me for my sins and save me right now. Father, I receive You into my heart and now I trust You with my life. I thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and Your grace. Thank you for saving me! In Jesus’name, I pray. Amen!

LEADERSHIP AMONG US, IASNF, WITH THE SPOTLIGHT ON OUR SUFFRAGAN & AUXILIARY BISHOPS! “Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you— The sure mercies of David. 4 Indeed I have given him as a witness to the people, A leader and commander for the people.” ~Isaiah 55:3-4~ Just like God hearkened unto the prophet Isaiah, God has placed effective leaders among us who have been called and ordained by God to hold the office of bishop. We are, consistently, in prayer for them and their leadership.
We feel honored and privileged to have a very special, ecumenical group of leaders that have come among us to help our Presiding Prelate, Bishop Andrew Watkins, Sr., Ph.D., do the work of the Lord.
In their individual churches and ministries, they have shown exemplary leadership in all of their experience. We honor them throughout this Leadership Edition of Saved! Magazine. We want to encourage and remind our members and our readers that we do not have to look very far for men and women of God who have fearlessly walked in
the authority God has placed on them to be the leaders he has called them to be.
With both male and female, some younger, some older, some with large congregations, some with small ministries, we know that God can use anybody. We celebrate that we live in an age where God is pouring His Spirit onto all flesh. We live in times where our sons and our daughters are prophesying, our old men are dreaming dreams, and our young men are seeing visions. (Joel 2:28) It is an exciting time for the Body of Christ to come together this way.
As you read through this periodical, you will find profiles of our bishops, all consecrated by God through Bishop Watkins, sprinkled throughout this issue. It is their moment in the spotlight as we focus on leadership and the constant need for Spirit-filled, God-led, born-again, saved believers to come to the forefront. They are at the forefront at I Am Saved Now Fellowship (IASNF) and we appreciate their very presence with us.
As we move forward, we encourage other leaders in the Body of Christ, to join us. We are always looking for people of God who want to be used and want to led by Him. What IASNF is All About The I Am Saved Now Fellowship (IASNF) of Christian Churches & Ministries is so named as a declaration of the Body of Christ to express their current and eternal state of being. It is a name that helps its members remember who they are and who they belong to. This declaration is meant to always convict, confirm, and affirm the hearts and minds of all those who are associated to live a life that is pleasing unto God. We believe that this is the reason why God gave Bishop Watkins the direction to name this organization the I Am Saved Now Fellowship of Christian Churches & Ministries. Ministries We are an ecumenical organization that fosters the unifying of leaders. We do this through... Connection, Fellowship, Covering, Growth and Shared Services. Services We offer three types of memberships: Church Memberships NonNon-Church Ministry Memberships Individual Memberships
This organization functions as an ecu-
menical fellowship, which means we lead through influence. You, your church or your ministry becoming associated with IASNF means that you stay in control of your church, your ministry, and your individual focus of what God is leading you to do. What we provide is leverage. Because you are an IASNF member, you have leverage in voice, leverage in buying power, and leverage in access. As we grow throughout our region, our republic, and throughout the world, we are building up various places for you to display your spiritual gifts. With your membership, there will be opportunities for you to evangelize, sing, teach, preach, or display whatever your spiritual gifts or talents may be. It will all be used to the honor and glory of God’s name. Ultimately, we desire for Christian leaders to be fully equipped and ready to disciple all of those who are lost into the Body of Christ. We want to make sure that leaders have a place to go to in their time of need and when trials come. We are building an infrastructure that will help make God’s leaders feel more secure when they need a shoulder to lean on.
NEW DIRECTIONS: AN ISAIAH 40:31 LEADERSHIP TESTIMONY New Directions Christian Fellowship Church of Houston, Texas, is walking by faith and not by sight. Since February of 2006, they have exemplified leadership in their mere will to survive. Like every growing church, the New Directions Family has experienced its ups and downs on many levels. But, in this periodical, we celebrate how they have led their Greenspoint community in sharing the Gospel with many by just handing them a Bible. This has been done over 75,000 times. In the last four years, they have fed over 150 families at Thanksgiving and Christmas, including gifts for children and adults. And, for several months, their church doors were open to the public to feed them with the Word and a meal.
Many have been converted and baptized under the anointing of Bishop Andrew Watkins and his unfailing will to be obedient to the Spirit of God. He preaches and teaches the Word of God fiercely and honestly. He allows God to use him in a way that just blesses others. This church is now the lead church in the I Am Saved Now Fellowship (IASNF) and home to New Directions Theological Institute. many community and business events. But, they understand that their purpose is to worship the Lord in Spirit and in truth as frequently as they can. Often required in leadership, this church and ministry has experienced trial and triumph, defeat and victory, discouragement and glory. Through it all, this is a church that has been leaning on God and has been unchanged, in their spirit, to serve the Lord. God is now spreading their wings and enlarging their territory as they get ready plant and continue to work of the Lord. They pray everyday and work hard to do all they can to bring glory to the work of the Lord. By anonymous member

These tests are supposed predictors of a person's future educational achievements, potential, quality of relationships, job performance, and income. In 1905, French psychologist Alfred Binet developed the first IQ (Intelligence Quotient) test. The thesis was that a high score on this test measured a person's intelligence.

What is LQ? LQ is the study of your personal leadership intelligence, which brings men and women to the maximum of their God-given potential!
Leadership Quotient (LQ) is a composite measure of a person's leadership skills that positively influences people to join that person in achieving desired outcomes that benefit others.
LQ Solution Key - You will only fulfill a fraction of your potential all by yourself. Increasing your ability to influence people, maximizes your personal potential for achievement.

od does not produce the results you are looking for and will eventually cause you to go backward. That's too much disappointment! 3. They hire out. Some churches pay others to manage part or the entire load. This choice may work when the economy is flourishing, but in economic downturns, this is expensive. That's too much money! 4. They delegate everything. Even to people who have not been properly trained. This causes your quality and excellence levels to plummet. That's too much mediocrity! 5. They develop others. Some leaders teach people how to do the task but fail to develop the head and the heart of the leader. That's too much lost time!
Each of these ways of operation has a negative drawback. Obviously, a leader's focus should be number 5 - to develop people into leaders. However, the challenge is having the time, money, and training material. That's where The LQ Solution Book can help you develop and train more qualified leaders for your entire church. Your ministry will only grow to the degree of your church's ability to care for more people. By Dr. Keith Johnson

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
On January 21, 2013, the United States of America has come full circle. And how iconic it was for the first black president of the United States of America to be sworn in for a second term on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Only God could have planned this day. Only God could orchestrate such a momentous occasion. Only God, could bring us as a people, bring us as a nation, bring us a the human race, to this place in time. As we look back to his Dr. King’s final speech: “I’ve Seen the Promised Land,” we know that God was truly using him as a vessel. Martin Luther King Day, 2013, made us all feel like we made it to the mountaintop. We all feel like we have come so far. And, even though we know that we still have a long road ahead, we know that the way back down the mountain is going to be rough and bumpy. Yet, we are hopeful, we are energetic, we are ready to move forward, knowing that we can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us. (Philippians 4:13)
And while many of us do not agree with the policies of our current administration, we do not agree with everything that he believes in, many of us are satisfied with the hope that we all have a chance and an opportunity to pursue our dreams and know that they can be achieved. The playing field is becoming more level for all colors of the rainbow in these United States of America. The future for black and white, Latino and Native-American, Chinese-American and middleeastern American, is bright and hopeful. It is hopeful for all of us, as long as we educate, encourage, inform, protect, and spiritually feed our children and ourselves. We can all overcome the racism that still exists today if we are willing to love, forgive, and stand, unapologetically, for who we are and what we believe in.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Now, in the I Am Saved Now Fellowship (IASNF), at such a historical time, we are so pleased that our very own Bishop Andrew Watkins has made history for us, for our communities, for Christiandom, for the Body of Christ, and for the full ecumenical community of bishops around the world. The hope for his future as a bishop is bright, yet uncertain. It is a walk of faith, not of sight.
King was hoping and praying for babies, such as Barack Obama, who was only six years old at the time of this speech. He was looking to them to make it to the mountaintop. And now, our country is at a crossroads. Our government has shut down and is on the brink of an economic holocaust. People are tempted to become fearful as the government becomes more and more divided each day.
At this time, we beg you to differ. We plead with you to remain hopeful. We dare you to stand up for what is right. What we have done: within IASNF Since 2006 as a result of our outreach and connection in the community, we have provided over 1,400 meals at Thanksgiving and over 1,400 meals and presents at Christmas. On a regular basis we are feeding in our churches every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday after worship services. For the past 3 years, we have provided families in need with over 1,500 back- packs during our annual back to school bash. Our greatest joy has been to spread the good news of Jesus Christ by giving over 48,000 bibles in 6.5 years.
What is Outreach? Outreach is an extension of God’s love through human interaction. It is scripturally based and is required of us per the following. Matthew 25:37-40 says, 37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ Why do we need outreach? Outreach is the path through which churches interact with the community. It resides in and introduces the love of God to those who are lost and truly need the Lord. What is the Purpose? The Purpose of Outreach is to minister to the community at large; to disciple, to spread the good news, the gospel of Jesus Christ; and to be obedient to His Word while encouraging others to do the same.
What is the Mission? As Christians, our mission is to build a strong fellowship of believers in Christ who will maintain their faith and be constantly equipped for ministry; To prayerfully meet the needs of those who are lost, overlooked, and/or discouraged; To spread the Good News; To feed the hungry; To clothe the naked; To visit those who are sick and in prison; To foster the education of children and youth; And to minister to the spiritual and physical needs of all persons. This will be done regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, or social status; Teaching them to walk victoriously in the Spirit of our Loving God. (adopted from the Mission of New Directions Christian Fellowship Church where Presiding Prelate, Bishop Watkins, serves as the senior pastor)
What we are doing now: As an ongoing practice, we are feeding in our churches every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday after worship services. We are sheltering the homeless. In the past 6 months, we have helped to shelter 30 families. We are providing meals for needy families during the holidays. We help with providing social services referrals. Bibles are given out to and available for anyone who needs one. What can you do? How can you actively reach out in your community? Start a pantry program in your church or look for models of things that are already being done. Below are things we are planning to do. THE TIME FOR GROWTH IN THE IASNF FELLOWSHIP IS RIGHT NOW! (IASNF) of Christian Churches & Ministries is an organization that is growing leaps and bounds. And in the cultural, economic, and political climate that the world is in, the time for growth is right now. God is truly blessing us to be encouraged during a time of government shut-down, a time when men and women are lovers of themselves more than they are lovers of God, a time where it seems that there are only two kinds of people: The Haves and the

A Few IASNF Benefits IASNF Counseling Ministry: Ministry IASNF understands and promotes the mental and spiritual health that is necessary for all of us as we help to build up God’s kingdom. Like many parishioners, the men and women of God who lead God’s people, sometimes find themselves in a place where they need someone to talk to and pray with in a Christian environment. So, one of the many benefits of having an IASNF membership is having access to this type of care. Through IASNF’s connection to The Managing Control Group, getting help is easy to ascertain. We provide caring, confidential counseling services to the leaders of this fellowship. Our plan of action is to provide leaders with an outlet for them to handle their issues privately, in order to avoid any possible damage to themselves, their families, their ministries, and the Christian community as a whole. For more information about receiving this kind of help for both members and non-members, please visit our website at www.angercontrolgroup.com. Satellite Expansion Program: Program Through New Directions Theological Institute (NDTI), IASNF is able to help churches with the growth and development of the men and women in ministry at their church. It is created to become a satellite location of NDTI, with complete access to the certificate programs that are coupled with opportunities for them to receive the bachelor degrees, master degrees, and doctorate degrees through are fully accredited partnerships. Expansion NDTI NDTI: TI New Directions Theological Institute is an extensive, comprehensive, certificate program that includes a Chaplaincy program and a Christian Counseling program. Through our regionally accredited partnerships, we are able to give our students the opportunity to also earn higher degrees. For more information about our institute, please visit our website at www.newdirectionstheologicalinstitute.com IASNF College of Bishops, Overseers, and Pastors Pastors: stors This is a ministry where the leaders can come and learn how to walk circumspectly, in and out among God’s people, while developing proper protocol in ministry. We can also guide the leadership in where the best deals can be found on vestments, rings, and clergy attire. Promoting and Lifting Up Leadership Within our Fellowship: Fellowship We do this through our National and Jurisdictional meetings held annually. In this network, we prefer to use our leadership that God has blessed us with. This is done in order to promote and encourage them as they serve the Body of Christ. IASNF Publishing : This is where we publish our tools for learning, marketing, books and other material for development and growth in the Christian life. T his is a ministry whose main responsibility is to help and educate our members in social media marketing, website development, and other technological advances. The results of this benefit should be effective in financially, prosperous ways so that pastors, churches and ministries can raise capital for the plans God has given them. There are many opportunities available, but not all are effective in what a church or ministry may be trying to achieve. A Number of Other Benefits We Have: Have Ordination and Consecration services, 501(c)3 help with paperwork, Vision casting, Apostolic covering, Mentoring, Five-Fold Ministry Training Classes, Church Planting Services, Grant Writing, Book Publishing Services, Welcome Teams to welcome new ministries.
IASNF will always continue to look for ways we can help our members and pastors to receive discounts on goods and services. And ministries that can help grow their church or ministry

Dear Reader, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for your support. We are humbled and honored that you have taken this ride with us as we focused on Leadership in this fall issue of SAVED! Magazine. We give God all of the praise, glory, and honor for blessing us to have this platform. And, we thank all of the IASNF Family for making this publication possibly! Your readership of SAVED! Magazine supports the ministry and work of the I Am Saved Now Fellowship (IASNF). By supporting us, you will help us to declare and decree the Word of God in I Corinthians 12:4-7: 4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are dif- ferences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversi- ties of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the proJit of all! Your decision to support IASNF means so much because it will enable us to launch our message, that the spreading of God’s Word throughout the world during this time, is very important. It will also help us spread the idea that denominations, ministries, and churches must unify and come together, celebrating the common bond of unity through Jesus Christ, Our Lord! Thank You !
