Manuia Le Vaiaso O Le Gagana Samoa! Avondale College students and staff celebrated Samoan Language Week with a variety of fun activites schoolwide. One of the highlights was the lunchtime Siva Dancing lessons in the dance studios, which were very well attended! Also popular was the display of Samoan-themed books in the library.

ACADEMIC PATHWAY EVENINGS Thank you to all the families who attended our Academic Pathways information evenings over the past two weeks. We hope that you found it helpful in understanding the opportunities available to our senior students in pursuing Cambridge International and NCEA qualifications. For those who were unable to attend, or who would like to know more, copies of our information booklets are available on the College website by following the 'related links' under the Academic Pathways article. Our Academic Programme for 2020, which outlines the detailed courses on offer to students, will be distributed to students in Years 9 to 12 in the last week of this term.
