Approximately 650 gorgeously dressed students and staff enjoyed a winter wonderland evening at Eden Park on Saturday night. The dance floor was non-stop and full all night, thanks to the superb efforts of the DJ, Jan Holland from DJ 4 You. With theming by Eventz On Show and photography by Cactus Photography, it was a night to remember! Special thanks to Ms Joynes, Mrs Miller and Mrs Patel for their wonderful organisation of this event.

The popular kids' TV show What Now filmed an 'Avondale Extravaganza' on location at Avondale Primary School on Sunday morning! Featured in the show were a number of talented Avondale College students, including our very own worldclass DJ Kalib Strickland, aka K-Swizz, trickster footballer Ruben Poole, and Indie rock band, Bad Dog. Two Avondale College alumni celebrities - cricketer Martin Guptill and USA-based actress Rose McIver - also joined the fun via Skype interviews.
