B GOLD FOR GABI AT DON OLIVER AWARDS Congratulations to Gabrielle Fa’amausili, whose latest gold has been won out of the pool, at Friday’s Don Oliver Awards evening. This is the second year Gabi has been presented with a Gold Award by the altruistic foundation which provides talented emerging young athletes with scholarships and other forms of support. Congratulations too to Avondale College swimmer Ikko Shibuya who was awarded an emerging swimmer’s training grant.
