Moeller Aerospace

The Cyril Bath Company, is part of an International corporation known as ARIES Industries. This group of aerospace focused businesses provides innovative metal forming and joining solutions to the aerospace industry. The foundation of its technologies is stretch forming of aluminum alloy sheet for fuselage skins, as well as aluminum and titanium profiles for airframe structure components. ARIES Manufacturing, is the brand name marketing our titanium airframe components. The company’s stretch presses are equipped with the latest CNC control systems, designed and developed by its in-house software engineers. Our stretch forming customers include the leaders in commercial and business aircraft manufacturing, in addition to their complete supply chain network. ARIES Manufacturing has developed a very innovative Hot Stretch Forming process, or HSF®, to contour titanium profiles for airframe component applications. This high temperature forming process precisely stretch forms titanium extrusions or roll forged shapes to the exact part design contour. The hot stretch formed part is then machined and finished into a critical airframe component. This valuable forming process saves starting titanium weight by offering a near net profile solution; contoured in a controlled, repeatable process, with minimal residual stress. In addition, under ARIES Manufacturing, we hot form and superplastic form titanium sheets for applications in nacelle and pylon components.

Established in 1949, Moeller Aerospace is a recognized leader in the manufacturing of complex precision components for aero and industrial markets. From raw material procurement to finished part assembly, Moeller is a full-service turbine engine component supplier with expertise in milling, turning, conventional and creep-feed grinding, EDM, and superabrasive machining technologies.

Tel: +1 704-289-8531

Moeller’s diverse product portfolio spans a multitude of commercial, military, space, and industrial energy applications, and its machining solutions are sourced by every major OEM on over 70 engine programs.

www.ariesmanufacturing.com

Moeller specializes in turbine airfoils and complex components including blades, vanes, nozzles, seals, dampers, mounts, and flow path and locking parts. The company specializes in machining materials such as Inconel, nickel cobalt superalloys, titanium, titanium aluminide, stainless steel, and aluminum in wrought, forged, and cast form as well as composites. Moeller also produces a custom-designed, secondary self-locking technology called Click-Loc® that replaces lockwire but can be tailored to meet the needs of any application. Click-Loc® fluid fittings, fasteners, and plugs add quality, reliability, and maintainability to any product that is safety/mission critical or exposed to high vibration, high stress, or high thermal environments. Engineered to exceed the life of the product, Click-Loc® has over 25 years in service with zero reported failures.

Since 2010, Moeller has expanded five times, adding 188,000 square feet of new manufacturing space to support the growing aerospace industry. With three factories, nearly 300,000 square feet of manufacturing space, and over 250 CNC machines, Moeller is well-positioned to support the dynamic needs of the future.
