Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to welcome you to London for the 2026 edition of Engine Leasing, Trading & Finance (ELTF) Europe. From 10–11 June, we are thrilled to bring together the industry’s leading lessors, airlines, MROs, OEMs, and financial institutions to navigate the evolving landscape, tackle challenges, share expertise, and build meaningful connections.

Our focus this year goes straight to the heart of the operational headwinds and strategic opportunities shaping your business. Rather than just highlighting trends, our panels will dissect the realities of supply chain constraints, engine durability issues, and asset availability challenges. We will debate shifting engine valuations, evolving lessor portfolio strategies, MRO capacity expansion, and forwardthinking airline fleet planning. Coupled with deep dives into financing trends and the USM market, this year’s agenda offers a definitive look at market recovery and the long-term outlook through 2035.

While the insights shared on stage are invaluable, the true power of ELTF Europe lies in the connections made off stage. We encourage you to actively use the official event app Brella throughout the conference to schedule your critical one-toone meetings, connect with fellow attendees, and manage your schedule.

This guide is designed to help you maximise your time with us. Inside, you will find the complete

CFM International

In 1974, two aircraft engine manufacturers, Snecma (now Safran Aircraft Engines) and General Electric Company (GE Aerospace), signed an agreement that would redefine international cooperation and would forever change the face of commercial aviation.

That agreement formally launched CFM International (CFM) as a 50/50 joint company. The collaboration was founded on a desire by both companies to gain a share of the short-to-medium-range aircraft market, dominated in the early 1970s by low bypass engines. Today, CFM is the world’s leading supplier of commercial transport aircraft engines and the best example of a successful international joint venture.

The agreement that established CFM calls for the two parent companies to share everything equally, from design and development to production and support.

The two companies initially developed the CFM56 product line that would go on to become the bestselling aircraft engine in commercial aviation history. The engine family brought operators industry-leading reliability, fuel efficiency, lower noise and emissions, and overall cost of ownership.

In 2008, CFM launched the advanced LEAP engine family. In service, this engine is setting new standards for fuel efficiency and asset utilization as the fleet achieves one of the fastest accumulations of flight hours in commercial aviation history.

LEAP engines provide 15 to 20 percent better fuel consumption and lower CO2 emissions, as well as a significant reduction in noise compared to previous generation engines.

In June 2021, the partnership launched the CFM RISE (Revolutionary Innovation for Sustainable Engines)* Technology Demonstration Program as a manifestation of the deep commitment they share for achieving ambitious goals for a sustainable future.

Technologies matured as part of the RISE Program will serve as the foundation for the next generation CFM engine that could be available by the mid2030s. Program goals include reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by more than 20 percent compared to today’s most efficient engines, as well as ensuring compatibility with alternative energy sources like Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) and hydrogen. The program will deliver revolutionary performance all while maintaining the unrivaled CFM standards for reliability, asset utilization, and overall cost of ownership.
