Hanwha Aerotechnix

Hanwha AeroTechnix is an FAA-certified repair station and aircraft engine services provider supporting the commercial aviation aftermarket with a focus on speed, quality, and asset value protection.

Operating from a purpose-built, 50,000-square-foot facility in Miami, Florida, the company delivers endto-end engine support solutions designed for today’s increasingly capacity-constrained MRO environment— where rapid decision-making, efficient shop flow, and dependable technical outcomes directly impact fleet availability.

At the core of Hanwha AeroTechnix’s offering is its Engine Hospital capability—supporting customers who need targeted interventions that restore engine readiness without the timeline and cost burden of a full overhaul. Engine Hospital shop visits can include focused troubleshooting, module-level work, borescopedriven corrective action, and specific repair tasks aligned to the operator’s immediate operational priorities. This approach helps customers address unplanned events, stabilize engine condition, and return assets to service faster, while maintaining strict quality and regulatory compliance.

Beyond hospital-style workscopes, Hanwha AeroTechnix provides repairs and component solutions that help customers manage material demand and maintain predictable maintenance outcomes. From inspection and repair execution to documentation and traceability, the team emphasizes disciplined processes that support reliability and long-term lifecycle performance.

Hanwha AeroTechnix also supports customers through technical asset management, offering the expertise

needed to evaluate engine condition, align maintenance actions to lease or ownership requirements, and maximize the financial performance of each asset. This includes data-informed guidance on maintenance strategy, repair-versus-replace decisions, workscope planning, and end-of-life considerations. In a market where the economics of engine ownership continue to evolve, a strong technical partner can be the difference between a reactive repair and a value-optimized plan.

A cornerstone of the company’s operations is its engine teardown and part-out capability. Hanwha AeroTechnix performs detailed teardowns and material recovery services that support spare supply, lease returns, and end-of-life asset strategies. With disciplined disassembly processes, inspection rigor, and a focus on recoverable value, the company helps customers unlock serviceable material opportunities and make informed decisions about the next best use of each engine.

At the AeroEngine Conference in February in Tampa, Florida, Hanwha AeroTechnix is proud to support the industry’s dialogue around shop capacity, turnaround time pressures, and smarter asset strategies. The company looks forward to connecting with airlines, lessors, OEMs, and partners seeking an agile, technically driven engine services provider—one equipped to deliver Engine Hospital shop visits, repairs, technical asset management, and teardowns that keep fleets flying and assets performing at their best.
