Event Summary
Aero-Engines Europe is the premier event exclusively dedicated to the trends and issues related to the region’s engine community, bringing together senior representatives from airlines, MROs, OEMs, lessors and suppliers. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Aero-Engines Europe 2021 was the first inperson gathering for this event in over two years. The conference was converted into a hybrid event, combining in-person and virtual attendance to provide flexibility for delegates amid continuing travel restrictions. On 1-2 December, 2021 at the Radisson Blu Atlantic in Stavanger, Norway, 139 attendees gathered in-person, with a further 68 joining virtually for a much anticipated reconnection of the aero engine community. The conference consisted of 13 interactive sessions led by 46 expert speakers and the content was live streamed to virtual attendees via the Brella platform. Two dedicated evening receptions, two lunches and several breakouts combined with the Brella platform provided a perfect opportunity for informal networking amongst the in-person and virtual speakers, delegates and airlines in attendance. Aero Norway closed the conference by hosting a comprehensive tour of their Stavanger facility for in-person delegates. “The conference was again very valuable, provided insights and networking opportunities and was extremely well organised.” Joachim Kressel Director Fleet Procurement, Lufthansa
“Aero-Engines Europe 2021 was an excellent event in a great city - hosted by Aero Norway. It was great to meet the engine ecosystem again in person during a high-value content conference.” Klaus Mueller Senior Advisor, AeroDynamic Advisory
