On behalf of the Africa Hotel Investment Forum 2-4 November 2022, we would like to thank you for your participation and support at this year’s conference. We look forward to working with you to make your sponsorship of AHIF as productive, rewarding and enjoyable as possible. Please read this carefully, paying special attention to the dates by which we need things from you. If you have any questions, or if we can help in any way in regard to your sponsorship of this event, please do not hesitate to contact one of the team. TOP TIPS FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION 1. Read this Exhibitor Manual (it’s not a long document), to ensure you are aware of all the opportunities available to you as a sponsor. 2. Submit your contacts for us to use in our promotional mailings to ensure that your top clients get an official invitation to AHIF and know you are a sponsor of the event. 3. Book hotel rooms as early as possible. 4. Ship your materials to Morocco very early as customs clearance can take a long time. 5. Make sure you have insurance (check contract for details) which covers your company at AHIF. 6. Enjoy the experience that AHIF brings you and your company as a sponsor!

The agenda will utilise both indoor and outdoor spaces within the resort so attendees can enjoy the benefits of the Moroccan climate. The exhibition room will be placed on the grass area in front of the conference room and will have a hard floor, access to power, tables and chairs. All refreshments will be served just outside the exhibition room. The exact exhibition floorplan will be sent through separately for you to choose your stand.

As soon as you sign up to sponsor AHIF you become an integral part of our marketing campaign, giving your company exposure to decision-makers on a global scale. To make the event successful we need to contact your Marketing/PR team, to ensure we are profiling you as a sponsor. YOUR WEBSITE If your company website has a page for events you will be attending, don’t forget to include us. If your company has an Intranet site, don’t forget to tell your colleagues of your company’s attendance at AHIF. If you require an event logo or web banner to include on your website, please email mala.patel@thebench.com YOUR EMAILS Many people include events their company will be attending on their email signatures, to make their clients aware of their presence at industry events. If this is something you do, please don’t forget to include us. If this isn’t something you do already, perhaps now could be the time to start! YOUR E-NEWSLETTERS Does your company send out e-newsletters to its clients? If so, please don’t forget to include details of the event on there. YOUR CONTACTS We will be pleased to send special, personal invitations to your most important contacts or clients, notifying them of your participation in the event, on your behalf. We ask sponsors to provide us with their lists of contacts electronically by 20 September 2022. If you have any newsworthy stories / deals that will be announced at the event, please let us know and we can help promote this.

COMPANY LOGO ON PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS Your company name or logo will appear on AHIF 2022 marketing materials, where appropriate. We have already received your logo and this is now on the website. Please check this is the correct logo and that the hyperlink goes to the correct website address: https://www.ahif.com/partners If you wish to amend your company logo at any time, please submit the new version to: mala.patel@thebench.com PROMOTIONAL MAILINGS We have created a special 25% discount offer to forward to your most important contacts or clients. This will be sent to you as a separate bespoke email that you can forward at your leisure. COMPLIMENTARY SPONSOR PLACES – Deadline: As soon as possible but no later than Friday 14 October 2022 Any additional staff members who will be helping you in the exhibition must be included in your complimentary places or paid for. Any representatives who are speaking, moderating or on a panel at the conference do not need to be included in your complimentary places. All speakers will be sent a different code to register for their complimentary place when their participation has been confirmed. TO REGISTER YOUR ATTENDEES Go to https://www.ahif.com/register • Scroll down and enter your sponsorship code that has been emailed to you and press on ‘Apply’ • A new hidden ticket will appear – please select quantity 1 and complete the details accordingly. • Please note that all confirmation emails for your company’s complimentary delegate passes will be sent directly to the registered person so please ensure when registering any delegates that you use their own personal contact details (this is very important as the details you input will be exactly as it appears in the delegate materials). ADVERT IN THE DELEGATE MATERIALS Deadline: Monday 1 October 2022 You are entitled to place a full page, full colour company advert within the conference speaker & sponsor handbook, this will be available online on the conference app to all attendees. STAND SIZE Sponsors will be provided with a space and provided with a table, two chairs and up to two electrical points. DISMANTLE
Please note that exhibitors will not be permitted to dismantle their stand during exhibition hours. Should you need longer to set up your stand, please contact mala.patel@thebench.com INSURANCE AND SECURITY The organisers have no insurable interest in the property, staff or actions of sponsors. Sponsors must ensure that they have sufficient insurance to cover claims associated with their staff and have property and third-party liability coverage. The exhibition hall is not locked overnight and although there is security on site, you should not leave valuables unattended at any time. The organisers will not be responsible for anything that is lost, damaged or stolen at any time.

Please arrange for shipping to be delivered to the venue no earlier than Friday 28 September. Deliveries will not be accepted before this date. Please remember to also arrange shipping for collection of your materials after the event. All exhibition materials (display, advertising documents etc) must be entirely removed from the exhibition area during the dismantling hours: Thursday 4 October from 18:00 – 20:00. After that time, sponsors and/or exhibitors will be responsible for any charges incurred.
