My name is Avery Reed, and I am an illustrator and designer based in midcoast Maine.
Each of my illustrations, patterns, and stories celebrates the beauty of the natural world and the laughter of children. Working within limitted color palettes allows me to play with shape, color, and form. And while I do arrange my work into collections, it can be mixed and matched again and again and again——perfect for wrapping paper, fabrics, and stationery.
I hold a BA in Media, Culture, and the Arts from The King’s College and an MFA in Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology. I also sell prints, stationery, greeting cards, stickers, and wrapping paper online and in local shops.
