Remembering Kelly Sifford ’18

REMEMBERING A BRIGHT LIGHT

Kelly Anne Sifford 1/10/83 – 4/25/20

God welcomed another angel this year. Kelly Sifford, Class of 2018, was such a positive force on our campus. During Kelly’s address as the Class of 2018 Student Commencement Speaker, she imparted words of wisdom from the heart to her fellow classmates. “The best part of Ave Maria Law are the people here. Through the fear and the work, we have emerged with a quality legal education. We made it. God is good.” - Kelly Sifford ‘18 We continue to pray for Kelly’s loving husband Tylan Thomas Ricketts ‘18, her cherished daughter Emma Marie Sifford, and all of her loved ones. We were blessed to share time with Kelly and watch her shine bright at Ave Maria Law. “ Though we will never understand why Kelly had to leave us so early with much life left to give, I think it’s good to focus on great things that have happened because she came to

Ave Maria Law. She met her loving husband Tylan and she converted to Catholicism. I’m rejoiced Kelly is above us and ” watching over our school. She will always be a part of our law school community. - Kevin Cieply, President and Dean
