ACCESS AND OUTREACH

• President’s Unrestricted Endowment - $4 Million Strengthening the capability of the President to be better prepared to respond to current needs, future opportunities, and unforeseen issues as they arise.

• Chapel Maintenance and Operating Fund Endowment - $250,000

• Endowed Faculty Chairs - $4 Million

Endowed chairs are used to enhance a professor’s salary and to provide additional funds for research, teaching and service opportunities. To be the holder of an endowed chair is one of the most prestigious honors a professor can attain and can provide an important incentive for recruiting renowned faculty.

• Named Endowed Scholarships - Starting at $500,000

This scholarship will provide assistance based on academic achievement, leadership, service, etc. and can be created in your name or the name of a loved one. It can be tailored to the wishes of the donor consistent with our mission.

Create a Fund to provide Ave Law faculty opportunities to present or attend conferences and allow for continuing education.

• Information Technology Endowment - $1 Million

To support Ave Law’s Information Technology department by providing funds to upgrade operating systems and provide resources necessary for future expansion and updates.

• Veteran Memorial Law Library Collections, Catalogues and Electronic Resources Endowment $1 Million To provide students access to the most current information in their study of the Law.

For the on-going purchase of missals, candles, sacramental materials, vestments, flowers and any other item deemed appropriate by the Chaplain.

• Chaplain’s Endowment - $500,000

Providing perpetual spiritual guidance at Ave Maria School of Law by underwriting housing, healthcare, salary, travel expenses etc. of the Chaplain.

• Human Trafficking Endowed Clinic - $4,000,000

This Clinical Program provides an exceptional opportunity for students to work with clients, learn substantive law, craft and implement legal strategies, and serve the common good. In the Human Trafficking Law Clinic, students learn relevant immigration law, and represent undocumented survivors of sex trafficking, labor trafficking and other forms of violence.

• Patent Law Endowed Law Clinic - $4,000,000

This clinic provides students the opportunity to represent clients who would not otherwise be able to afford to pursue patents for their inventions. Students work with clients to understand their inventions, research existing patents, etc.

• Immigration Endowed Law Clinic - $4,000,000

This clinic provides students the opportunity to assist immigrants under the direction of faculty, with information and services including worker’s rights, and humanitarian services for low-income immigrants.

VETERANS • Endowed Veterans Law Clinic - $4,000,000

This clinic will provide Ave Law students, under faculty direction, with the opportunity to gain experience by helping Veterans with securing much needed assistance with disability benefits, family resources and pro bono legal services to ensure they receive the benefits to which they are entitled.

• Veterans Advocacy Center – $1,000,000

This resource center will include a dedicated staff to assist Veterans with resources and serve as a welcoming center to reintroduce them to civilian life.

• Endowed Veterans Scholarship - $3,000,000

This proposed endowment would establish a fund to help 15 qualified Veterans to attend law school free of tuition for all three years.

• Non-endowed Veterans Scholarship - $10,000

This proposed scholarship would establish a fund to help one qualified Veteran attend law school free of tuition for one year.

• Endowed March for Life Annual Pilgrimage Fund -$1,500,000

This fund will provide for 30 students, faculty and clergy to attend the Annual March for Life and Law of Life Summit in Washington, DC.

• Veterans Memorial Law Library Founder- $50,000 ($5,000 yearly over 10 years).

Limited to 100 individuals. Your name will be inscribed on a permanent commemorative bronze plaque, you will receive membership in the Honorary Board of Regents and attend the annual luncheon featuring a nationally recognized speaker. You will also receive special recognition at Commencement and discounted tickets to other Ave Law events each year.

• Veterans Memorial Wall of Honor – $2,500

Honor a loved one on the Veterans Wall of Honor with a gift of $2,500. Plaques hold the name of a fallen hero, a Veteran or those currently serving in the Armed Forces.

• Military Service Appreciation Plaza - $100,000

This plaza will provide for the remembrance of Military Clergy and their service to God and country. This reflection area will also be used for special gatherings including Hero’s Appreciation services, MIA/POW remembrances, etc.

• Athletic Field – $100,000

This donation could provide the funds necessary for a multi-purpose field for soccer, basketball, volleyball, etc. for the benefit of students, faculty, staff and guests of the Law School.

• Ave Maria Lecture Series

Add to this established fund with a gift in any amount, which provides for speakers of renown to lecture for the benefit of students and faculty enrichment and the community at large.
