WHERE HAVE WE BEEN? MARCH FOR LIFE For the last 17 years, Ave Law students and faculty have participated in the March for Life in Washington D.C. The trip is organized by the Lex Vitae Society (Pro-Life Organization on campus). This year 25 students, Dean Cieply, Monsignor McGrath, administrators, and faculty attended the March. In addition, Ave Law had a booth at the March for Life Expo and our students attended the Law of Life Summit. The Law of Life Summit is an event started by Alumnus Royce Hood (‘12) to highlight how the legal community is vital for the Pro-Life movement. The event highlights the many great pro-life organizations and provides a venue for a discussion of this relevant and topical legal issue facing the country today. The annual trip to the March for Life is a must for Ave Law.

Students, faculty, and staff proudly represented Ave Law and the Lex Vitae Society at the March for Life in Washington, D.C.

SLS18 CONFERENCE Ave Law was a proud sponsor of SLS18 in Chicago, IL this January. SLS is a bi-annual student leadership conference presented by FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students). Associate Director Naomi Hatton (‘17) and 3L Sarah Prosser (‘18) attended on behalf of Ave Law. They met hundreds of young Catholics anxious to learn about opportunities for their future, both academically and spiritually. Ave Law offers competitive full-tuition scholarships for FOCUS Missionaries and to graduates of Catholic undergraduate institutions. Ave Law looks forward to attending and sponsoring the Seek Conference next year in Indianapolis, IN.
