HET KORT GEDING V&D Het kort geding V&D besproken Woensdag 25 februari 2015 14.00 uur Mariëlle Daudt represents global corporations and major national companies on labor issues. She has substantial experience in international project management and working with clients headquartered in the U.S and U.K. regarding employee transfers, the restructuring/downsizing of European workforces, intra-group harmonization of employment conditions/policies, and compliance projects. She heads the Labor & Employment Practice in Amsterdam. Mariëlle has advised (supervisory) boards and senior management teams with employment law issues regarding EMEA responsibilities involving collective redundancies, post-merger integration, appointment and dismissal of statutory managing directors and executives, management and consultancy agreements, corporate governance, directors' and officers' liability, disputes on postcontractual restraints such as noncompete issues, global/pan-European incentive schemes and equity participation, collective disputes, harassment cases and discrimination law, employee participation rights, international secondment constructions and global expat handbooks, and fraud investigation cases. Prior to joining Jones Day in May 2014, Mariëlle was a partner at a global law firm, where she conducted legal proceedings regarding board dismissals and management fraud within the real estate, financial, and transport sectors. She successfully represented a Dutch multinational commodity service provider for the global agricultural markets in legal proceedings against its former senior traders about long-term incentive claims. She also handled the international employment aspects in a variety of complex acquisitions and cross-border restructurings and advised on works council issues and trade union negotiations. Mariëlle regularly writes for legal magazines and is a frequent speaker at conferences on employment law topics.
