Starting of this year, July 2023,Itooktheleadership role as Area 16 Director. Every year we have new role & responsibility and most of us are willing to taketheseopportunityjust because of the hope that we will learn throughout our Journey and will bring excellence.

There were four clubs initially, Parsons Doha Toastmasters, my home club, Professional Toastmasters , Doha Tamil Toastmasters which was realigned to Area 16 this year beginning and Laughteradvancedclub,a New club chartered late June2023.

I was truly inspired by the entire team, club leads especially tried their level best to lift their club up, most of them were having challenges on retaining the membership and adding new members, but regular quality club meetings and open house conducted opened the door for the club to be strong with potential mebers.

We conducted Area Council meeting on 18th August 2023, Area contest on 23rd Feb 2024 and Area confluence meeting on 14th June2024

Meanwhile to charter new club, opportunity for a lead came through our DD and wedidday-nightworkand conducted two Demo meeting on 26th & 30th March 2024 and finally the MADINATNA club chartered on 1st April 2024 and followed by this, Area 16 becameDistinguishedArea. Team works makes the dream work and the team SQUAD - they are real dreamers!

PROFESSIONALTOASTMASTERSCLUB

I saw a nest in my AC, woven by weak straws but making a strong Shelter Wondering on the Miracle of Nature, the art, eliciting the strength of binding, I determined to keep up the spirit for the Professional ToastmastersClub. When the Club was struggling this term but it got a shelter for many of the members learning leadershipskills.

Theplatformhasreformed manyrawindividualslikeme byself-groomingand inculcatingconfidencefor personalgrowth. IsawanestinmyAC,woven byweakstrawsbutmakinga strongShelter.Wonderingon theMiracleofNature,theart, elicitingthestrengthof binding,Ideterminedtokeep upthespiritforthe ProfessionalToastmasters Club.

Wishing District 116 to keep providing shelter to our Professional Toastmasters Club.
