Frequently Asked Questions 1.How thorough is the screening process? We check work experience, training and qualifications, employment history, ‘right to work’, criminal records and legitimacy of references. We also pay attention to real, human needs at the heart of any job vacancy. We’re fully compliant with NHS framework standards too. We believe that screening done well actually saves time in the long-run. By improving the likelihood of a good client-candidate match, staff stick around for longer, and deliver better quality of care for patients.

2. Are Avanta Care on any NHS Frameworks? Yes. We’re a trusted supplier on the HealthTrust Europe framework (HTE). To achieve this, we had to pass the rigorous HTE tender process and share detailed information about the way we run our business. That means we’ve been successfully audited by the HTE framework body, and we’re on their list of vetted and compliant agencies who can safely supply permanent staff to NHS clients.

This protects your reputation and performance too.

Who you will work with

3. Why choose Avanta Care? A principal benefit is volume and variety of candidates. At Avanta Care we’ve proven we can supply a greater number of staff, from a broader range of healthcare backgrounds – often at short notice. That means better value for money for you, as well as more consistent quality in the healthcare professionals we recruit on your behalf. We have respect for those individuals too. Many candidates relocate their entire lives abroad - so we nurture, support and settle them into working cultures quite different to their home country. We also believe in fair reward and recognition for people who care for our most vulnerable citizens.

"I would like to thank the team for a wonderful service. I was in need of international nurses but was unsure of the process. Craig and the team have guided me through the whole process, from applying for my Sponsor Licence to interviewing staff. We now have 5 nurses on our books, and I will definitely be back in touch when we need some more."

Case Study “We have had a long-standing relationship with Avanta Care. We previously partnered with them to support us in finding temporary staff, and most recently to assist us with permanent recruitment. The team are very helpful and supportive, prompt to address any staffing issues and highly professional in their approach. They supported us throughout the recruitment process and provided insightful information, especially about staff sponsorship. The interview process was well organised; All candidate profiles and CVs were sent over beforehand, and the video interviews were arranged in a timely manner. The candidates were well prepared and knowledgeable about our home and our services.

The quality of the candidates was very high. Everybody we interviewed had excellent English and came across as friendly and professional. In the end, we recruited 6 new staff members. Overall, I am really impressed with the service provided by Avanta Care. They took care of everything and took the hassle out of recruiting. The team are very supportive and accommodating, and I will definitely be using them again for our organisation. I highly recommend them to anybody considering hiring overseas healthcare staff.”
