As Avalon Park Wesley Chapel continues to take shape, each new milestone brings us closer to a vibrant, walkable community where connection, convenience, and opportunity come together. From new businesses to expanding amenities and educational opportunities, the vision of a true Live, Learn, Work, and Play community is steadily becoming a reality.
One of the most anticipated additions is Dunkin’, slated to open in June 2026. This well-known favorite will offer residents and visitors a convenient stop for coffee, breakfast, and everyday moments, adding to the growing list of amenities within the community.

Progress is also underway on Town Park, a central gathering space designed to bring residents together. Construction continues, with sidewalks expected to be poured soon and an anticipated opening in August 2026. Once complete, Town Park will serve as a hub for events, recreation, and everyday connection, further enhancing the sense
of place that defines Avalon Park Wesley Chapel.
Education remains a cornerstone of the community. Pinecrest Academy Wesley Chapel is proud to serve the Avalon Park Wesley Chapel community and looks forward to welcoming local families each year. Families residing within the development, as well as those whose parent or legal guardian works within the community, will receive priority consideration and an early opportunity to apply during a limited enrollment period. Admission is not guaranteed, if applications exceed available seats, then selection will be determined by a random lottery. The remaining seats will be filled by other eligible students, including those living within a reasonable distance of the school, also through a random lottery. Pinecrest values its connection to Avalon Park and encourages community families to apply early
Adding to the residential growth, Stanley Martin Homes is now open and actively selling within Avalon Park Wesley Chapel. Their presence brings thoughtfully designed homes and additional options for those looking to become part of this growing community.
Each of these updates reflects the continued progress and intentional growth happening in Avalon Park Wesley Chapel. With every new development, the community moves closer to delivering on its vision, creating a place where people can truly live, learn, work, and play together.

College students sometimes ask me for career and life advice. No matter what they are studying, and no matter what their goals and dreams may be, my advice is often the same: go to Asia. Explore Asia. If possible, live in Asia for some time.
Today, Asia represents around 60% of the world’s population, while the United States accounts for about 4.3%. That fact alone reminds us how significant Asia is for all of us and how important it is to better understand the people, cultures, and perspectives that shape so much of our world.
Over the years, I have found that one of the most important ingredients for happiness, prosperity, and peace is relationships. Understanding the needs, hopes, and dreams of others, many of whom come from different cultural, religious, and economic backgrounds, is essential. It helps create peace, opens doors, and gives more families the opportunity to succeed.
By having friends and business partners in Asian countries, and by spending time in Asia, I have always learned a great deal. Those experiences have broadened my perspective, strengthened my appreciation for other cultures, and reminded me how much we all gain when we take the time to learn from one another.
As we celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month across the United States, it is a meaningful time to reflect on the many contributions Asian American communities have made to our country. Their influence can be seen in business, education, the arts, technology, medicine,
public service, and so many other areas of life.
It is also a reminder that in a world that can often feel divided, relationships still matter. Real progress begins with listening, learning, and being willing to see the world through someone else’s eyes. The more we understand different cultures, traditions, and values, the better equipped we are to build stronger communities and create new opportunities together.
That is one of the reasons I continue to encourage young people to travel, explore, and experience other parts of the world whenever they have the chance. It does not only help shape better business leaders. It helps shape better people.
The lessons I have learned through international friendships and partnerships have stayed with me throughout my life. They have influenced how I view business, community, and the importance of creating opportunities for others.
As we recognize Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, may we also recognize the value of cultural understanding, the strength that comes from diversity, and the relationships that help create strong communities!
