OCCUPIABLE WALLS

Objective: Design two apartments, one for an environmentalist and another for a social scholar, in between two offset walls. In the spaces surrounding the walls, there are a plaza and a garden that must be considered in the design.

Approach: Use the space between the walls for individual studio apartments and utilize a second floor above the walls for a shared space and individual work spaces for the social scholar and environmentalist that relate to the plaza and garden respectively

Objective: Identify a simple culinary hand tool with at least one axis of motion. Capture the form and mechanics of the tool through drawings and isometrics.

Approach: Research and capture the hand mixer patented by C.E. Elliot in 1951. Collage elements to convey the rotational motion present in several parts of the tool.
