Welcome to Round 4 of the 2024 Fox Australian Supercross Championship, the Boost Mobile Supercross Sprint at the world-class VAILO Adelaide 500! We are thrilled to be here, bringing three full days of Supercross action to this iconic motorsport event and o ering Supercars fans an incredible chance to experience the high-octane excitement of Supercross up close.
This season has delivered some of the most intense battles we’ve seen, and the championship is heating up as we head into Adelaide. In the SX1 class, reigning champion Dean Wilson is locked in a fierce competition with American star Joey Savatgy and Australia’s own Luke Clout. These riders have pushed each other to the limit, showcasing incredible skill and determination at every turn. With only a few rounds left, the race for the SX1 title is as close as ever, with each lap bringing them closer to glory—or heartbreak.
The SX2 championship is just as thrilling, with Honda teammates Shane McElrath, Brodie Connolly, and Cole Thompson leading the charge. McElrath’s precision, Connolly’s speed, and Thompson’s resilience have kept fans on the edge of their seats, and the rivalry within the Honda trio only adds to the intensity. It’s anyone’s race, and every moment counts as they battle for supremacy.
We are especially excited to bring Australian Supercross to the VAILO Adelaide 500, marking a significant collaboration with Supercars. Hey Supercross Fans,
Welcome to the 2024 Fox Australian Supercross Championship!
I’m beyond excited to be part of this incredible series once again. Racing in Australia has always held a special place in my heart, and it’s amazing to see supercross thriving here like never before.
As many of you know, my journey in supercross began right here in Australia. The support and love I’ve received from Aussie fans throughout my career has been nothing short of amazing. That’s why I’m thrilled to be involved again in AUSX —this series has played such a huge role in both my career and my life.
The Australian Supercross Championship is quickly becoming a magnet for talent, both local and international. The 2024 line-up is stacked, with names like Wilson, Savatgy, Moss, Clout, and Tanti, just to name a few. It’s no longer just Australia’s best—world-class riders from overseas are now seeing the value in racing here during their offseason. As more top-tier competitors take notice, this Championship is solidifying its place on the global racing calendar, which only makes it more exciting for fans!
What makes the Australian series so special is the opportunity it offers young riders in the 85cc and SX3 classes. They get to experience racing in huge stadiums, in front of global TV audiences, and on the same tracks as their heroes—something you just can’t replicate anywhere else.
As both a dad and a racer, I love seeing those aspirational moments. The pressure and the lessons these young riders gain are invaluable. The junior talent in Australia is incredible, and I know this season will be fiercely competitive!
This season is shaping up to be one of the most competitive in Australian Supercross history, and the buzz around it is palpable.
