SX1 - RIDER LINE-UP DEAN WILSON QUAD LOCK HONDA The reigning AUSX SX1 Champion returns ready to defend his crown. Born in Scotland and forged through years of racing at the highest level in America, Wilson is a former AMA Pro Motocross 250 Champion and one of the most experienced riders in the field. Fast, technical and a firm fan favourite, “Deano” will once again be one of the riders to beat.
CHRISTIAN CRAIG QUAD LOCK HONDA American star Christian Craig brings championship-winning speed and unmistakable style to the AUSX stage. The American veteran has raced for some of the biggest teams in the sport and established himself as one of Supercross’s smoothest and most technically gifted riders. Craig’s international experience makes him a serious threat whenever the gate drops.
JOEY SAVATGY QUAD LOCK HONDA Joey Savatgy arrives in Townsville with an impressive international résumé and proven success in Australia. The American has claimed multiple AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross victories, finished runner-up three times in the FIM World Supercross Championship and previously secured the Australian SX1 crown. Calm under pressure and consistently fast, Savatgy is a genuine championship contender.
CÉDRIC SOUBEYRAS PENRITE EMPIRE KAWASAKI French Supercross specialist Cédric Soubeyras brings international flair and fearless race craft to the SX1 field. A highly experienced competitor across Europe, America and the FIM World Supercross Championship, Soubeyras is renowned for his aggressive riding and technical ability. The 2024 King of Dortmund will be looking to make an immediate impact under the Townsville lights.

TIGER WOOD QUAD LOCK HONDA Townsville’s own Tiger Wood returns home as one of the most exciting young riders in the SX2 field. After spending seven years developing his craft in North America, Wood finished third in the 2025 SMX Next Championship and earned multiple podiums. Fast, fearless and racing in front of his hometown crowd, he will be one to watch closely.
CAMERON MCADOO HONDA RACING AUSTRALIA American Supercross star Cameron McAdoo brings proven race-winning speed and enormous international experience to Townsville. A three-time AMA 250SX main-event winner and regular championship contender, McAdoo is renowned for his toughness and never-give-up approach. He also knows how to win on Australian soil, having claimed the AUS-X Open SX2 victory in 2018.
