Welcome to the second edition of Articulate. We hope you all enjoyed the first one. ADSA has been hard at work these past couple of months - we’re having a break after this newsletter to cram for exams!! A few things have happened in the last couple of months and we’d like to fill you in... Voluntary Dental Intern Program: the government is planning on introducing placements in this program from 2013. ADSA was invited to submit an opinion (which can be viewed through our website) and two members will be attending a government meeting during October. We will update you on any results.

ADSA representatives also attended a meeting with the University Deans from around Australia in September, which we hope will become a regular occurrence so we can convey student opinions to the universities.
ADSA has also attended the NRHSN Face2Face, which was a large meeting between the rural clubs. We urge you to get involved in your rural health clubs - you can get sponsorship to go on amazing trips! Rural contacts at each uni can be found on our website. We hope you enjoy this edition of Articulate. Good luck with your exams - we’ll see you on the other side!
