THE CLASS OF 2022 WOULD LIKE TO DEDICATE THIS YEARBOOK TO... Mr. Nathan PICCINI

r. Piccini has earned this dedication because of his love for the students and their education. Several students have said that he is easy to talk to and livens up the classroom. He makes his classroom engaging and always has an answer to every question you ask. He keeps the class engaged and interested in History by making jokes and never letting the class get boring.

One Senior stated that, “When I was really struggling in APUSH, Mr. Piccini took the time to reach out to me and try to figure out where I was going wrong and needed help. Rather than making me figure it out on my own, he was willing to guide me through it which meant a lot.”.On top of his stellar teaching style, he also has a great personality; another one of his students said, “He is a funny teacher and he did a great job preparing me for my AP exams. Mr. Piccini is down to earth and he is very kind and helpful to all his students.”

The Class of 2022 would like to thank Mr. Piccini for his kindness and dedication to his students. He has shown students what it means to be a great teacher inside and outside of the classroom.

The Original 20 of 2022

his year’s graduating Class of 9022 started off with just 20 sixth graders. Throughout their past seven years at Austin Prep they have made countless memories, numerous friendships, and many incredible achievements. Nicki Theriault reflects on her middle school years, “Some of my absolute favorite memories were the Luau Dance in 7th grade, and Mrs. Putney’s 8th grade English class.” Since walking into the school for the first time in September of 2015, these students have grown up in the hallways of Austin Prep. They are now prepared to step into the world and begin the next chapter of their lives. Ben Sperling describes how he feels about graduating, “I am definitely excited, and ready for what college has to offer.” The Class of 2022 Lifers came into Austin Prep overflowing with excitement for their future, and are leaving with that same feeling,

CLASS OF

To the Class of 2022,

St. Augustine said in one of his sermons, “Let our searching be such that we can | be sure of finding, and let our finding be such that we may go on searching.” It occurred to me that the Class of 2022 is a class of Augustinian pioneers who searched and found a pathway way forward through an incredibly challenging Journey. Your final two years at Austin Prep - half of your time in high schoolwere marked by the challenges of the first global pandemic in more than 100 years.

For our part, we did all we could to clear a path for you through all the messiness. You were the light, however, that inspired us and pointed to the horizon. As I think about your class, I will always appreciate your confidence, your grace, and your tenacity to push forward. In June 2021, a time when we were very much in the middle of the pandemic, I had given the “go ahead” to see what the interest might be from the Class of 2022 to travel to Walt Disney World and restore this Senior Class rite of passage at Austin Prep. Within minutes of the announcement, excitement and energy was building around an opportunity to celebrate friendships formed and create lasting memories through a capstone experience — to simply push forward. Whatever risks there were, they were eclipsed by your optimism.

Austin Prep is the place where your hearts were formed in veritas, unitas, and caritas. In that forming, you inspired the Austin Prep community to “keep on searching such that we can be sure of finding.” Inwardly, you have what you need to guide you outwardly on your Journey ahead. Go energetically into the world with the moral compass of your Augustinian hearts to continue to light the way and help build here on Earth the City of God. We're counting on you. f

Good luck, God bless you, and Godspeed.

Warmly,

And the Cardinal came too, so it made it more important, and everyon was super nice.” Cardinal Scan O’Mallcy came to our school to give the mass, and welcomed our two new members, thc Bannabikira Sisters into our community, ‘he Fall athletic teams were on fire-thcy all played to the best of their abilitics and wer successful in their seasons. Hunter Socp ’24 stated, “he fall athlctic season went great! everyone worked extremely hard in the off-scason and it paid off in the end.” Go Austin! Fall also took our Scniors to the most magical place on Earth, and thi return of our favorite Austin tradition, Disney World. Isabel Hulse ’22 commented, “he Disney trip made me realize the importance of my classmates and how much I’m going to miss them next year.” ‘he scason concluded with our school-wid« Bluc Mass to honor our First Responders and thcir families, and it wrapped up an amazing first few months for Austin Prep.

Our School, Py SGA aes

Story, and Life

his year was a very special : Convocation Mass for Austin Prep as Cardinal Sean O’Malley came to celebrate the Mass. We were able to have it outside and students sat in the stands while the mass took place. School President Patricia Bibeau °22 and Secretary Jack Caruso ’22 continued the tradition of raising the Class of 2022 banner at the beginning of the mass. Father Armano said, “The most memorable moment this year was the Inauguration of the Bannabikira Sisters. When the Cardinal brought up the sisters to bless them.” He continued, “Convocation Masses are very important for the school and it brings our community together.” After being imaugurated by the Cardinal, the Sisters were officially welcomed to Austin Prep and have become a huge part of our community. Both Sister Mary and Sister Paskazia echoed, “We both feel the same, we feel settled here and like now we are a part of Austin Prep and Massachusetts.” Austin Prep also added a new tradition to the Mass this year flags from all the different countries that represented the students’ nationalities were carried throughout the mass. Kayley Simons ’25, one of the first flag holders commented, “As a freshman at Austin I really enjoyed getting to be involved in the Mass and everyone I talked to was super nice and inclusive. It made me feel like was part of the community, and I loved every part of it.”

E MASS

Honoring the Sacrifice

his year’s Blue Mass at Austin Prep was a memorable experience. Bishop Mark O’Connell came to Austin and celebrated the mass with us. Patricia Bibeau ’22, schoolwide President, spoke about some challenges that she faced being the daughter of first responder. She commented, “It comes with many emotions: pride in my dad, appreciation, and fear and anxiety. As a child, I had to face the hard truth that there could be the possibility of him not coming home with my dad’s job. It’s a truth that the son/daughter of first responders have to face. At the same time, my dad is also a role model in my eyes. His efforts and bravery are admirable because I know that I would never have the courage that he does to complete his job daily.” At the end of the Mass, the Bishop went outside and blessed the vehicles of the first responders. Another child of a First Responder,Josh Williams °24 was asked similar questions and responded with, “Being a child of a first responder can be hard sometimes, When my dad goes to work I always worry if he will be safe. You will never know if they will come home the next day. You are always relieved when they walk through the door the next day though.” So from our Austin Prep Family we say thank you to those who serve for us, and keep us safe enough to attend school and live our lives.

Cougar Pride

uring the week of October 11th, the Austin Prep hallways overflowed with enthusiasm. Each day students arrived at school decked out in clothing and accessories following the wide variety of themes. In order to participate in the dress-down days, students were required to purchase a bracelet. All of the proceeds went directly to St. Jude Hospital, and as a community, we raised $14,222. On Monday we were taken back to the 2000s; people dressed up as music stars like Justin Bieber and The Cheetah Girls. The following day jerseys were worn to support an array of teams. Neon leaked out of the school on Wednesday, and as you looked around you would see everyone in vivid colors. Maeve Carey ’22 chose this one as her favorite because, “We had never done it before and it was exciting to see everyone participate.” Moving onto the next day, students were given a choice between two themes, Country vs. Country Club. Cowboy hats and tennis skirts collided throughout the day. To ensure the safety of students, an outdoor pep rally took place on Friday. Every inch of the stands was packed with students dressed in class colors. Throughout the pep rally, grades chanted at each other and engaged in playful competition. All of the fall teams created a fun and lighthearted dance routine and performed them on the field. Valeria Centinaro ’23 described the pep rally as “The best part of spirit week because it was a time where the community came together to cheer sports teams and classmates on.”

rom football games to pep rallies, Austin Prep Cheer’s Game Team had season to remember. After a year without the crowd, the stands were always filled when Friday nights came. Olivia McDonald ’22 says that the most memorable game for her was the Cheer Senior Night against Arlington Catholic. She stated, “The crowd was decked out in their Christmas outfits, the field was decorated so nicely,” she continued, “the atmosphere was unlike other games and the bleachers were packed.” The fans brought the spirit, but the Football Team brought the support.

“Cheer and football had a close connection this year, which brought a great sense of energy to the season,” said Captain Ariana Shalhoub ’22. The girls worked hard and put in the effort to make the games memorable and fun, which is exactly what they did. The season was brought to an end with the annual ‘Thanksgiving game, but the connections made will last a lifetime.

he Austin Prep Competition Cheerleading Team had a season like never before. The “Elite Eight” started off their season with a Ist place win at the Tewksbury Invitation Competition, the first time in 5 years that Austin Prep Cheer has won an Invitational. At their CCL Competition, they placed 2nd and advanced to the North Regional Competition. There, the team earned their highest score of the season, taking 3rd place and becoming Regional Finalists. They advanced to the State Championship Competition, where they received a Semi-Finalist title, placing 7th in the State for Division 4. When asked about the season, Captain Ava Colella 93 said, “Out of my 6 years on this team T have never won a competition in our division and in that moment of winning I knew that this year’s team could go far.” With a brand new team, the girls had to learn how to come together to put out the best routine they could, and that is exactly what they did. “This team worked hard all season, and it really paid off,” stated Captain Madison Barbieri ’23. “We made a strong comeback not just from last year, but from previous years as well.” Coming off of the season with their heads held high, the team cannot wait to take on next year ‘Cool, Calm, and Collected!’

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

Race To The Finish Line

uccess requires hard work, dedication, and discipline, all of which are qualities that the Girls Cross Country team possesses. It was a fantastic season for the team. Being undefeated in dual meets and coming in second place at the CCL Championship Meet takes physical and mental toughness. Memories were made and challenges were overcome. “I have a lot of favorite memories of this season, but if I had to choose one it would probably be Twilight, which is a meet held in Cape Cod. There, we all ran while it was completely dark out, so the course was lit up with Christmas lights and practically everyone there was wearing glow sticks. Almost our entire team got new personal records, and overall it was by far the most fun and best meet of the season,” said Captain Caroline Kelly ’23. Madison Valade ’25 commented, “Throughout this season I think I have improved as an athlete in the sense that I have cut down my times a lot and helped others to achieve their goals for the season as well.” The team finished 5th overall out of 23 teams at the Division 2 State Championship Meet and seek to build on that as they return the entire top 7 next season!

he 2021 Boys Cross Country season was successful for the team, with almost everyone achieving a personal best by the end of the season. It was also a memorable experience for the team’s Senior runners. Senior Captain Steven Galatis commented, “My favorite memory of this season was probably the Twilight Invitational down in Cape Cod. It is always a blast and everyone enjoys the experience of running at night” Off the trails, the team would get together in celebration of a successful XC meet. According to Christopher Blake, another Senior Captain, “Cross Country is a very team-dependent sport, and being able to share memories with the team certainly helped bring us closer and improved chances of our later season success.” After getting 4th place at the CCL Championship Meet, the team went on to place 7th at the Division 2C Sectional meet, highlighted by Galatis’s 2nd place overall finish. Their team placement qualified them for the Division 2 State Meet where they finished 23rd. Overall it was an amazing season for the team.

FIELD HOCKEY

We Stick Together

fter only two years of becoming a sport at Austin, the Girls Field Hockey team has become a huge success.

Captain Patricia Bibeau °22 stated, “Even though the program has only had two years together, our team has become a family. Through games, practices, and team bonding outings, we all have become one unit.” They ended the season ranked 3rd in the CCL, 9th in Division 3, and they made it all the way to the Elite 8 in the MIAA tournament. They played the #1 seed and kept it tied 0-0 through the half, and held it together until the last minute, until ultimately falling to Sandwich High. Ainsley Raymond °24- said, “Although last season was tough because of Covid, I think that our team has come together very well over the past two years.” From team bonding and practices to the games on the field, the team comes together to win. As a fun little add-in, we asked the team members who they thought was the most enthusiastic both on and off the field. Most of them responded with Lily O’Neil. Raymond commented, “She always puts in so much effort for our team, whether it’s team spirit or just bringing us together.”

he Austin Prep Football Team finished with a 4-7 overall record on the season, and a 4-3 record in the Catholic Central League. “The most exciting part of the year was when we were the underdogs going into the Archbishop Williams game. In the Fall 2 season they came into our house and beat us pretty bad. We went into Archbishop Williams and beat them 28-13 on their home field,” commented Captain Jack Keefe ’22. The team worked hard throughout the season but did not forget to have some fun along the way. Jack continued to explain why his favorite game was against Bishop Stang, “After putting up 47 points and capturing the win, we all ran towards the student section and they started throwing baby powder all over us. It was a special moment knowing the football team was delivering bigtime wins for the school and the student body.” The boys will look to bounce back next year and finish their season on top with a championship win.

You've Been Served

A ustin Prep’s Girls Volleyball Team had yet another impressive season. Their connections on and of the court were incredibly strong and they truly had each other’s backs through the season. During challenging games they all stepped up where they were needed. Their teamwork set them apart from their opponents. The hardest win of their season was their away game against Bishop Fenwick. They have been rivals for years, and are very evenly matched. The game was very intense, and the constant flipflop of the scoreboard reflected that. Madeline Hickey ’22 expresses, “The energy that we gave off in their gym was nothing like I’ve ever felt before from us. I think that is what determined the game for us.”

Dance Fever

he Austin Prep Dance ‘Team bounced back stronger and better this season after not being able to compete last year. Jillian Regan ’22 looks back at this season and says, “I will never forget the feeling right after we finished our last performance at States. We walked off feeling proud of how we

performed and everyone that watched agreed that we did great.” Megan Silva ’22 stated, “Our biggest challenge this season was making sure our team

danced as one. We had almost a brand new team

this year with a bunch of younger girls. All together, we worked hard to make sure we were on the same performance and physical level.” Having an almost brand new team with new faces can be difficult for some, but the team came together and triumphed through this difficult task. This team grows and grows each season and one piece of advice from Silva, “Make sure you are ready to be dedicated. This team does more than just perform at basketball games. It’s a big time commitment, but so worth it by bonding

hits all with everyone.” The team ended their season with a

The team ended up advancing to the final round of the JBA Classic at Notre “Dame Hingham where they fought until the very end. With lots of hard work and practice, the team earned spot in the Division 3 State Tournament and finished the season with an 8-15 record. Victoria Withycombe °22 says, “Something I will miss about the season is J definitely being able to hang out with the team and being able to work together to make the season awesome!” When asked about her best memory of the season, Captain Nyree Kourkounian *22 state d, “One .of my best memories of the season was walking in on Senior night, particularly all of the decorations in the locker room. It was so cool + to see how much effort the team put into that and Tam so thankful.” Senior Night was certainly an experience to remember for the Class of 2022. BOYS BASKETBALL

Shooting for Success

r Nhe Boy’s Basketball team this year was on fire. They continuously brought the energy and had the fan section’s support for every home game. Even during the toughest of games, the team pulled through. Captain Thomas Skeflington ’22 commented, “Our hardest-fought of the year had to be our first game against Cathedral. They were much more skilled than us but we played at a high level and pulled out the win.” Captain Jack Caruso ’22 said, “I believe our hardest win to pull off was our first game against Archbishop Williams. It was on the road, and in the last couple of minutes of the game most of our starters fouled out. We

then had to put some of theJV swings and they pulled us out of the game with a win.” Jack also states, “I believe that we had a successful season. We were doubted to be a good team because of our young age, but we persevered.” The team ended a successful season with a record of 14-8 and a trip to the State Tournament.

Ts Boys Indoor Track and Field team had an overall strong season. The team became TCL Champions and placed 3rd overall at the Division 4 State Championship out of 53 teams. The 4x400m Relay won States and qualified for both All States and the New England Championships, medaling in all three meets. Throughout the season, Colby Medeiros ’22 learned, “Everyone will give their maximum effort so that when one of us falls short, the other members of the team will pick up the slack, and vice versa. This has really helped us develop as a group during the season.” This season, two school records were set; the 4x400m Relay and Steven Galatis ’22 in the 1000m. To close off the winter season, members of the team qualified for Nationals in the 4x400m relay, the Sprint Medley Relay, and August Doetsch 25 in the Freshman Mile. When asked about his favorite memory, Nico Fanuele ’22 states, “My favorite memory of the season would have to be crossing the finish line at Nationals. It was such a feeling that I never thought would be possible but hard work and commitment proved that we deserved to be there. Not only that, but we medaled in both of our events, which added to the amazing accomplishments we produced.” Amazing indeed!

they came out undefeated there were some games that were nail-biters. Captain Maeve Carey ’22 stated, “Our hardest-earned win was definitely against Duxbury. We won in overtime 3-2 with 3 seconds left, after playing a back and forth game. It challenged us and allowed us to work through adversity we had not seen yet.” They came together as a team and they were rewarded with their wins. Captain Sabina Axelrod ’?22 commented, “We had an incredible season and I would say the best in Austin Prep history. It felt amazing going back to TD Garden after having lost my Freshman year. It was so rewarding winning the MIAA Championship.” Their winning ways resulted in an undefeated overall record at 27-0. Their State Championship was definitely one for the history books!

Looking back, Alison Perault ’23 talks about how this team has shown her the importance of friendship, “Without reaching out to everyone on the team and creating new friendships, the season wouldn’t be as fun.” The girls spoke about how the best part of the races was when they would stand at the top of the course waiting for it to start, giving them time to bond and have fun with each other. At the end of the season, the team showed their appreciation for their Coach, Mr. Reusch, along with their dancing skills at the Pep Rally.

In the end, the boy’s team ended up winning the CCL!” The team sent five members to States, and many of them made great memories throughout the season. Daniel Cory ’22 stated, “Ihe most memorable moment of the season would have to be when we time-trialed the 400 Freestyle Relay at CCLs for a chance to make it to States. I just remember how happy I was that I would not be going alone to the championship meets and that was able to bring three of my very good friends along with me.” Cory also broke the 500 Freestyle school record during the State Meet. A Spring to Remember

ith the school year coming to an end, many people in the Austin Prep community made the most of the remaining school days. When talking about performing for the Spring Dance Show, Annie Hamilton ’22 said, “The highlight of the Spring show for me was being able to revisit my role of Clara in the Nutcracker by performing a variation from the show. The role of Clara is very special to me and I am so grateful to have been able to perform a section of it again.” Spring sport athletes departed with good memories and left the MIAA with a bang. Corbin Martin ’24, a Lacrosse player, spoke about his favorite memory from the season, “Our biggest highlight would be when Dante Filadoro scored the game-winner in triple OT to beat Bishop Feehan.” The Baseball team went on to win the Division 3 State Championship, and the Girls Tennis team earned State Runner-Up honors! The Track & Field team also had 10 athletes qualify for the National meet once again. With the end of the year near, the Seniors were able to enjoy special events like Prom and Graduation, which commemorated their hard work in completing high school. When asked about Commencement, Valedictorian Vikram Gonuguntla ’22 commented, “I felt more excitement than nervousness, but I also felt a little sad. Knowing that this is the end of my time at Austin made me really think about the memories and friends I made on my 7-year journey.’ Overall, the spring season at Austin was a great time filled with many lasting memories.

It’s an accomplishment to graduate but you are leaving something behind.” It was a bittersweet moment for them all, and we cannot wait for future shows!

Running Through Records

he Austin Prep Boys Track and Field team had an incredible season. Brendan McCarthy ’22 shared a highlight, “My favorite memory was absolutely demolishing the competition at the 4x400m relay during Senior Night” Many school records were broken this year including the 4x100m Relay, 4x400m Relay, 4x800m Relay, and Tristan Miller in the 400m. ‘The team also had to endure less than ideal weather, as Jack Brosnan ’22 mentioned, “One challenge we have faced is having to compete in the cold weather, as well as the rain. We always practice outside in these conditions to be ready when the weather isn’t sublime.” None of that mattered in the end, as the team finished in second place in the CCL Championship on a 96 degree day, and Tristan Miller 23 received MVP of the meet. They went on to place 3rd overall at the Division 5 State Meet, just four points from winning the whole thing. Miller was a State Champion in the 400m, and repeated that feat in the 4x400m Relay with teammates Nico Fanuele ’22, Jon Brand ’23, and Colby Medeiros ’22. After a great showing at the All State Meet, the team took those four athletes plus Steven Galatis ’22 and Brendan Ardito 22 to the National meet in Philadelphia, where they competed in three events and added another school record in the Sprint Medley Relay! Order on the Court

ustin Prep’s Boys Tennis Team brought their hard work and determination to the courts this year. They faced a lot of challenges trying to play some hard teams but came out victorious. Captain Chris Gerety 22 commented, “One of the hardest challenges we faced this year was working with the guys that are new to tennis, so they had to learn the basics and work their way up. They have made huge strides over the course of the season.” The team ended with a winning record, and they also had some really fun memories like the girls vs. boys scrimmage against the Austin Prep girls team. Joseph Zuccola 22 stated, “My favorite memory is actually making the team and playing 3rd singles.” The team played hard and brought their A game at every match, and it paid off. They earned the runner-up spot in the CCL Cup, and qualified for the State Tournament, where they won their first match.

BACCALAUREATE MASS | W COMMENCES Forward to the Future

he Class of 2022 gathered on May 20th with a friends, family, and faculty for their annual Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement ceremony to celebrate high school successes and the start of new opportunities. The day was filled with many awards, speeches, and remarks. Brendan McCarthy, the Class of 2022 Salutatorian, commented, “I was a lot less nervous than I thought was going to be. It was everything I could have wanted out of my last event at Austin and I had a blast giving my speech.” When asked about their favorite memory of their time here at Austin, Valedictorian Vikramaaditya Gonuguntla commented, “Some of my memories are things that everyone from my class remembers, like the D.C. trip in 8th grade. I also remember walking to P&S every few days after school when it still existed, playing games with friends in the music rooms, and talking to Mr. Reusch and Mr. Regan in the hallways.” By the cheers of the audience, the 139 graduates flipped their tassels after completing their journey here at Austin Prep.

Spotlight on the

Bannabikira Sisters

I: the short period of time that Austin Prep has had the

Bannabikira Sisters come to join us, they have made an impact on our community. They came here from Uganda leaving everything that they know and love behind to come to teach Science, Math, and Theology. They help celebrate each mass with Father Armano and are also part of the teaching faculty. Sisters Immaculate (Science) and Justine (Math/ Theology) were the most recent to join the school, following the arrival of Sisters Mary (Theology) and Paskazia (Theology). Sister Immaculate commented, “One of my favorite memories at Austin Prep was watching Girls Hockey at Merrimack.” Both have not only brought what they knew already to the table but also learned some new ways to teach and use technology, Sister Justine stated, “Austin Prep has helped me learn new things like teaching and assessing mathematics using new software programs like MathXL for school. The school has also trained me how to work with people of different cultural backgrounds.” Not only are the Sisters loved by the students, but they are also visited by them every day, learning new things that the students teach them,

tradition at Austin Prep is our Cougar block, a small period of time giving us a break in between classes. Whether you are in the Upper or Middle school, this gives Austin an opportunity to create and join different types of clubs. They range from Sign Language Club all the way to Culinary Club. Even some clubs like Model UN to help you think about the future. The clubs are the favorite time of the day to stop the learning and become more involved and creative in the community. Kyra O’Neill ’22, is a student moderator in the Youth Climate Action Coalition (YCAC). She said, “I chose to start YCAC because I got involved with the organization during quarantine and loved that it was making such a huge impact on the world and inspiring so many high schoolers to make a change. I knew Austin lacked an environmental club so I started it here in order to make a direct impact on my own community and raise more awareness among students and teachers on how to be more environmentally friendly.” Jared Cruz ’23 commented, “Tam part of Campus ministry, Latin Peer Tutors, Chorus, Drama, and Italian clubs. My favorite of these is Chorus because I like to sing and Mr. Williams is great as well.” Thank you to all of the students and teachers that put their heads together to make our Austin Prep experience better just by making us feel like part of the community!

Helping Those in Need

his year, the Austin Prep community raised over $25,000 worth of gifts for families in need over the holidays. During Thanksgiving, little more than 80 baskets full of food and supplies were collected. These baskets were donated to St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in Lawrence. When asked about her favorite part of the service, Marianna Tavano 25 said, “My favorite part about doing the Thanksgiving service probably has to be when we saw the church that we delivered the boxes to. It was so beautiful and it was rustic. It was breathtaking.” During Christmas, another 60+ baskets were collected and packed with goods. Approximately 60 of them were donated to St. Mary’s and the remainder of the baskets were donated to the Lawrence Boys and Girls Club. The Christmas initiative is by far Austin’s biggest initiative. During the Easter holiday, the community again collected over 80 baskets for St. Mary’s. In addition to these, over 1000 Easter eggs were donated to the Boys and Girls Club. When Mark-Henry Novas °26 was asked about how the services helped him grow as a person he said, “The Easter Basket Initiative was an amazing opportunity and it helped me grow as a person very greatly, Being able to not only participate but help deliver our charity baskets really put into perspective the amount of work that goes into charity.” Being a part of the Austin Prep community is a great way to help others in need and make long-lasting memories.

On December 31, 2003, our angel girl gracefully danced into our lives. From that moment, you have filled our hearts with love and joy. From your earliest years, you were sweet and so very quiet, yet you had the ability to take everything in around you, appreciate all that you saw, and give everyone what they needed - your love, your care, your sweetness

You began “Mommy and Me” ballet classes at age two, but through the years, ballet became your passion and shaped your development into the smart, strong, determined, and hard-working young lady that you are today. Ballet gave you a voice to share not only the beauty of your art with the world but also your boundless and steadfast determination. Nothing would or can stop you, Annie Elizabeth - not evena back brace that restricted your every move. You have faced what life has dealt you with admirable strength, a calm demeanor, and a smile on your face

God has blessed you with a pure heart - full of love, passion, and strength. Let those qualities guide you into the next chapter of your life. We will be forever proud of our little girl, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for you.
