From Camp Wingate Kirkland to the last time the locker room door closed, this season was one to remember. A strong start, a tough CCL run, and a hard=fought playoff game highlighted the 2016 season. Never before did we -expect to be arriving to games in ‘convoys of cars instead of busses, but this season proved us wrong. Our determination and grit never stopped all season, and that's something we as a team can be proud of.

From the stately Parthenon high atop the Acropolis in Athens to the Minoan Palace at Knossos in Crete, we were dazzled with bluest skies, whitewashed rooftops, and monuments that still whispered the secrets of the ancients. We made our own lunch of traditional spanakopita and souvlaki at a Greek cooking class; we fashioned clay figurines for Greek schoolchildren at a pottery workshop in Mycenae; and we sailed on a cruise ship across Homer's wine-dark sea in our exploration of the islands of Mykonos, Rhodes, Samos, Crete, and Santorini.
