| Mr. Regan and Mr. Moore, you have always been gracious enough to open your rooms, your hearts, and our minds. Whether it be plotting linear equations or analyzing Shakespeare, you both care about us as more than |just students in your class. We know we are more than just that loud-mouth in your room during activity, or that B- in your grade book.

/ You have both been teaching at Austin for fifteen years. Although the Class of 2012 has only known you for half of that (or less in some cases), we've all come to appreciate and respect you.

\ At the start of the school year, the OMEGA staff easily decided to dedicate this yearbook to the both of you. Since our decision was top secret, we ‘could never divulge our choice. But you should know that we were harassed Pind jokingly threatened that it had better be one, if not both of you. You are _ loved and appreciated that much. We are excited to dedicate the 2012 ) yearbook to Mr. Brian Regan and Mr. Christopher Moore.

My best friend Julia Kelly, whom met by chance in our 7th grade math class, I'm so sorry abandoned you for another school. But we still see each other all the time, so it wasn't so bad. I would like to thank all the people who have made me smile and all of those that I have been able to make smile. I will also thank my Mom for being the most carefree mother in the world, yet still care deeply. I thank my Dad for being the one who pushes me towards being the most intelligent, athletic girl he knows am. Mr. B, I thank for the times he's allowed me to be a goof listening to Pandora. It's a bit of home away from home, which I will feel empty without in college. I enjoyed my years at Austin, will look back at times with friends and wish I could revisit them.

The winter of 2011-2012 was snowless, but that didn't stop the holiday festivities from happening in full force. The dance club, chorus, and band | kicked Gff the season with a combined performance, "Let it Snow!" The | show highlighted the sophomore girls accompanied by the football 7 players in “Waltz of the Flowers," Christmas carols performed by the chorus and band, a surprise guest appearance from Santa, and snow flurries on stage thanks to EPS's superb talent. Friends of Rachel also spread holiday cheer and showed a great sense of unitas by caroling for i _ the residents at Woodbriar Nursing Home. In addition to being excited for i 2 Christmas vacation, the eventful winter spirit week pumped up the 7 students even more. On Monday students decorated their homeroom ~ doors, which resulted in a victory for Ms. Oz's crafty Senior homeroom. | Tuesday was "ugly" holiday sweater day, and Wednesday was Christmas: character day, in which kids dressed up as their favorite characters such as Santas, Whos, elves, reindeer, and.presents. Holiday themed snacks were given out at lunches ‘@n Thursday, dnd Friday finally wrapped up week with the long awaited winter pep rally. Theiseniors were the stars 0m) the show, with encore performances by the girls dancing to "Carol of the Bells," and the boys hip-hopping to "Bye Bye Bye.”

In March of 2011, a group of students from the Class of 2012 traveled to New York City for a fun-filled weekend. Mr. Mayo and Ms. Fuller were gracious enough to give up their time to chaperon this trip. In the short three days, the students got to explore the entire city of New York. They visited the 9/11 Memorial as well as the church which housed many fire fighters during that tragedy. The students were privileged enough to see the well known Broadway production of Wicked. Along with this they walked around Times Square, went to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, saw the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, while still fitting in lots of shopping. The Class of 2012 would like to thank Mr. Mayo and Ms. Fuller for taking them on this trip and making sure their time there was unforgettable. They really appreciate all that you did for them. It was such a memorable trip for everyone who went. Thank you!

In September of 2011, the long-awaited group of Argentinean exchange students arrived in Boston. For three weeks, they lived in the homes of students from the Class of 2012. By living with the Argentineans, the Austin students got to expand their conversational Spanish and were also made more familiar with the Argentinean culture. They enjoyed a Red Sox game, trips into Boston, apple picking, and the Topsfield Fair. Toward the end of the three weeks, the exchange students got to experience an American Homecoming weekend, that included "Futbol Americano" and their first ever dance outside of a "discoteca." The Class of 2012 would like to thank Mrs. Sherry for devoting so much of her time to organize everything. None of the life-long friendships, memories, or cultural experiences could have been possible without her.

In June of 2010, a group of Russian students and their chaperons, Mr. Hennessy and Ms. Fuller, departed on their adventure to Russia. While there, they visited the famous locations of Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Novgorod. They visited the Red Square in Moscow and numerous Orthodox churches. They ate Russian food, such as borscht, spoke the native language, and even learned traditional Russian dance. The students would all like to thank Mr. Hennessy and Ms. Fuller for their generosity and patience. They made the trip to Russia beyond memorable. The students also want to thank Ms. Fuller for opening herself up to a new culture and helping them to do the same. They thank Mr. Hennessy for giving them the experience of Russia. He brought everything that they learned about in class to life, and they are eternally grateful for such a wonderful experience.

In April of 2011, a group of French scholars, along with Mr. Mackiewicz and Mrs. DiPerna departed for Paris. On their eight-day journey, they had the privileges of climbing to the top of Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower, rowing boats at Versailles, and seeing the Mona Lisa at the Louvre. The exotic food made every dining experience memorable, and every bus tour was an adventure. Any of these French students would tell you that their trip to Paris was easily the best few days of their lives. They would also tell you how grateful they were to have such wonderful teachers as chaperons.

The Class of 2012 would like to thank Monsieur Mackiewicz and Madame DiPerna for making their trip to Paris exceed expectations. It was a week they will never forget, and they appreciate everything that you both did to make the trip as unforgettable as it was. Merci beaucoup Monsieur et Madame, nous adorons vous!
