Gruesome Discovery At Cleared Site Rocks 2 Ermelo South Africa To Stay Course Of Sound Fiscal Management S outh Africa will stay the course of sound fiscal management and will not cut pro-poor programmes over the coming months, newly appointed Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan said on Monday. “We will stay the course of sound fiscal management. Our expenditure ceiling is sacrosanct. We can have extra expenditure only if we raise extra revenue,” Minister Gordhan told a packed, special media briefing held after his appointment. Late on Sunday, President Jacob Zuma announced that he had appointed Minister Gordhan - who had previously served as Minister of Finance between 2009 and 2014 – to the portfolio of National Treasury, replacing Minister David van Rooyen who was appointed to the post last week. Minister van Rooyen has been deployed to the portfolio of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs. At the briefing in Pretoria, on Monday, Minister Gordhan assured the nation that pro-poor programmes as well as growth inducing programmes and investment will not be cut. Instead, he said, government will seek to increase investment in the 2017 budget. Going forward

strange ritual performed at an illegal building site believed to be a superstitious activity in the vicinity of Ermelo town has appalled several residents .The gruesome discovery of a baboon forearm clutching a folded R10 note attached to a metal state and placed in the heap of building sand raised eyebrows and dropped several jaws .
The site ,measuring only few square metres in a marshaland area.was recently cleared by a lone worker for what seemed to be informal building operations. A narrow trench was dug across the tarred road in the direction of an electrical mini substation this was presumably to connect electricity to the site.According to an insight the owner of the site reliably
informed residents that the property had been bought from the Msukaligwa Municipality and a car washing operation was to be erected on the site. The rituals performed are reported to be healing life threatening ailment and empowering the group with to cure diseases and foresee events .According to eyewitnesses candles were strategically placed in a
consecutive manner at the foot of the stake and chicken feet and salt being the main course scattered across the site. Death Is A Stone Throw Away In Chrissiesmeer By: GOODWILL THOMO The extreme, pandemic and exceptional illegal dumping conditions griping Chrissiesmeer, continue to pose a significant health hazard in the vicinity of the
exquisite area as clean up operations are proving to be a futile exercise. Despite the Municipality’s tremendous intervention to
curb illegal dumping by creating environmental awareness and increasing manpower on refuse collection, the scourge shows no sign of coming to an end!
Tons of building rubbles, Household garbage, animals’ rotting carcasses, car body parts, papers and litres of used motor oil are being frequently illegally dumped in the exquisite area. The Illegal dumping mayhem scourge rocking Chrissiesmeer that ha affected vacant fields has raised a countless number of significant concerns in terms of public health and safety, property value and the quality of life. A stench accumulating from various items dumped here is horrendous and unbearable. This poses a lugubrious health risk and creates the possibility of litigation as the unhealthy environment has started to attract flies and mosquitoes which carry harmful germs and diseases which are dangerous to children as their immune systems are vulnerable to infections especially by airborne bacteria. Due to lack of employment opportunities that have struck a major blow in the economy of the once pristine town, residents are encouraged to resort to significant measures of improving their livelihoods to eradicate the triple burning challenges gripping Chrissiesmeer, that of unemployment, poverty and inequality. Some have resorted to engaging in recycling of
used items to open doors of opportunities for themselves. Implementing no by-laws averts the council from prosecuting perpetrators involved in the spate of illegal dumping. According to Msukaligwa Municipality Spokesman, Mandla Zwane ditching trash illegally is misdemeanour, a charge imposed could be trespassing and malicious distraction to property. Heaps of waste creating a horrendous odour of decaying flesh in the air completely barricaded a nearby garden and a number of dogs are frequently spotted scavenging through the waste. will be harvested with the bordering gardens has become a constant worry for the garden owners as the vegetables from the gardens are daily food. Khanyisa Newspaper’s Chrissiesmeer radar perceived a snap and went into overdrive upon arrival. A disgruntled resident vented out her frustrations over the illegal dumping scourge. Thulisile Ndlovu, essentially reiterated that she is fed up with the illegal dumping, as her children have been frequently ill due to the unhygienic environment they have to endure. Young children are frequently spotted engaging in outdoor activities, playing on top of the mound of waste abandoned here. The Municipality has since ignored the incident as perpetrators responsible for the illegal dumping do it in broad daylight and no clamping down of hot spots is clearly visible. The Community Working Programme’s splendid intervention of conducting clean up campaigns continues to make a positive impact.

on 16 December 2015 at Mandla Magudulela Stadium. Mkhondo Xmas Soccer Challenge This tournament will feature all clubs (league and non league clubs) from the Mkhondo Municipality area and surrounding places. It will be played on 19 to 25 December 2015. Mkhondo Diski Festival Cup The tournament will be played by all sections/villages from eMkhondo. All teams will be made up of players representing their
sections/villages. Expected teams are Magadeni sections (defending champions), Harmony Park, Mangosuthu, Phosa, Maraba etc. The Diski Festival Cup will start on the 26th December until the final day on 31st December 2015 at Mandla Magudulela Stadium.
