ETHANOL PLANTS

Ethanol production, creating a cost-effective and renewable alternate fuel, is becoming a significant industry in southern Minnesota. Processing corn products instead of exporting raw corn doubles the value of each bushel. There are three Ethanol Plants adjacent to Mower County; one in Fillmore, one in Dodge and one in Mitchel, Iowa.
