This tranquil location is perfect for privately viewing the spectacular Northern Lights or enjoying the midnight sun. It is an ideal base for both winter and summer activities including: skiing, dog sledding, snowmobiling, hiking and observing wildlife.
Curl up in front of the log burning stove and enjoy the magnificent views. Perfect for smaller groups of up to 5 guests, with a fully fitted kitchen and 3 bedroom.

urora Spirit has established the world’s most northerly Whisky Distillery. The ngen Alps, fjords and Arctic wilderness e an excellent setting for making these award winning spirits!
When you arrive at the Distillery, you will start with the highlight: A Whisky ur. An experienced staff member will guide you through the process of anufacturing various types of spirits such as vodka, aquavit, and their awardwinning gin, however the main focus will be on their world-famous whisky!
Recommended For: We highly recommend this tour especially for those with an interest in history and tasting. There are lots of excellent photo opportunities around the visitor center with dramatic landscapes.
Visitors learn about hi-tech alcohol production, right here in the Arctic circle

Send your guests on an exciting nowmobiling adventure beneath giant untains & learn how these spectacular ummits inspired Norwegian Folklore.
At Camp Troll you will be greeted by guides and a full briefing on how to handle your snowmobile safely will be given. You then set out on a scenic trail to enjoy the beautiful Arctic Landscapes right under the Lyngen Alps. You can take pictures and then back at Camp Troll a warm soup will be served around the fire before you depart.

Drive your own dog sledding team through the Lyngen Alps!
We will make sure both you and the dogs have the time of your life. With animal welfare and guest comfort in mind, we offer the perfect location for a unique outdoor adventure. You will help set up your sleds and will be given instructions on how to handle your dog team. Your guide will lead the way through a beautiful scenic trail right in the Lyngen Alps!
Back at camp, lunch will be served in a Sami Lavvu around the bonfire.
Recommended For:
Anyone interested in trying dogsledding in a spectacular landscape. The trip is somewhat challenging physically so some general fitness is required.
The scenery around this tour is simply breathtaking with 1400+ metre summits, flat snow fields and evergreens.
During the day the guide will make a stop where guests and dogs get to relax and enjoy each other’s company.

Join our comfortable Whale watching tour in a closed, safe boat, with indoor warm seating and toilet facilities
We invite you to join a comfortable, warm, and fast boat for a breath-taking whale watching tour on the local fjords. From November to late-January many pods of whales visit the fjords outside Nordreisa, Skjervøy and Lyngen to feed on great shoals of herring. These conditions offer the best opportunity to get a close-up view of these majestic sea-dwelling mammals. The most common species of whale you can see are Humpbacks & Orcas.
Everyone who just wants to experience these magnificent mammals in their natural environment. This is also a good option for families!
This tour comes highly recommended and is an absolute “must do” while visiting the Tromsø and Lyngenfjord region.
