ActiveAhead from Helvar is a wireless, self-learning system. No programming is required, and the system shares information with other devices, predicting where lighting is needed.

As a lighting provider with in-house manufacturing in Sweden, we can significantly impact our carbon footprint and guide our customers toward sustainable choices. This includes offering energy-efficient lighting, using sustainable materials, and creating lighting that promotes health and well-being. We stay close to our customers, focusing on design, product development, testing, and upgrading of lighting products. Our entire production is located here, where we manufacture, assemble, package, and dispatch our products. This gives us the flexibility to maintain a production line that is both sustainable and clean.

Lower carbon footprint with sustainable material
For us, choosing long-lasting materials with a minimal climate footprint is essential. Our energy-efficient technology helps customers reduce energy consumption, sometimes by up to 80%. We carefully select materials for new luminaires and collaborate with suppliers to explore sustainable options.
We partner with Hydro, which produces some of our aluminium profiles using at least 75% recycled aluminium. Hydro Circal uses post-consumer aluminum scrap, ensuring materials have reached their service life and are returned to the loop via recycling. Using recycled aluminium in the production process also means lower heat, which in turn contributes to the need to generate less energy.

One step in the right direction
Aura Light has joined the Science-Based Targets initiative
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a framework that assists companies and organizations in establishing sciencebased climate targets aligned with the objectives of the Paris Agreement, which aims to limit global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees. As members, we have a responsibility to actively reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We work with Scope 1, 2, and 3 and have set specific targets to reduce our emissions by 50 percent in both Scope 1 and Scope 2 by 2030.
The SBTi is a collaborative effort between the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), The United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF).
Scope 1 covers emissions that directly originate from our operational activities, such as those from own factories.
Scope 2 encompasses indirect emissions resulting from the consumption of purchased electricity, steam, heating, and cooling by the reporting company.
Scope 3 encompasses indirect emissions that are a consequence of our company's activities but occur from sources not owned or controlled by us.
