KEYSTONE GIFTS

Unrestricted giving is essential to the college’s ability to provide a premier engineering education, conduct innovative research and produce graduates who set the standard for excellence.

Keystone Gifts

Keystone donors commit $50,000 to the college’s unrestricted fund over a five-year period. The flexibility of unrestricted funds enables Auburn Engineering to pursue on-the-horizon opportunities, react quickly to new challenges in higher education and sustain creative programs and departments in which students and faculty thrive. Likewise, producing the best engineers starts with recruiting the best students. There is enormous competition among colleges and universities to recruit and retain elite students. Keystone gifts provide funding to offer financial incentives and compete with other prestigious institutions for the most outstanding students.

Funding Emerging Opportunities

The contributions of our 80+ Keystone donors allow the college to advance its tradition of excellence and pursue even more ambitious goals. Unrestricted funds support:

• Scholarship and emergency aid funding for students in urgent need of financial assistance • Student competition teams that provide students with practical experience • Hands-on learning opportunities beyond the classroom • Study abroad programs that strengthen and enhance students’ educational experiences • Laboratories and resource centers necessary to keep pace with evolving technology • Classroom equipment that meets the demands of an ever-changing learning environment • Start-up funding for faculty research initiatives • Distinguished lecture series that enable both students and faculty to stay abreast of the latest professional developments, trends and accomplishments

“Our donors have stepped up in a major way by providing the funds necessary to build beautiful facilities equipped with cuttingedge technology that creates a dynamic setting for collaboration, while also supporting the programming to inspire excellence and innovation.”

“Your willingness to give back to Auburn allows us, the students, access to valuable scholarship assistance, elite professors and the greatest engineering facilities in America. You are affording generations of Auburn Engineering students a unique educational experience.”

“Support through Keystone gifts allows us to recruit and hire elite researchers and scholars to our dynamic faculty, while also providing the valuable resources necessary to perform innovative research that improves quality of life and fosters economic competitiveness.”
