In this program you will find loads of activities from all our Clubs and Societies. They want you to join them this week in their sessions tailored to newcomers.

Don’t worry if you’ve never done it before, that’s the point!

And if you do have experience this is your chance to start something back up, with no obligation at all to join any Club or Society.

So take a look inside at all the weird and wonderful things we’ve got to offer you and Give it a Go! You never know, you might just like it

Saturday 17th Rugby

Meet the rugby boys at their training grounds in Winton to “Group together, train a little, drink a little”.

Monday 19th Cycling

Calling all cyclists. Bring your bike to the AUB bus stop, ready for a 27-mile ride. The pace will be one comfortable for all, this is not a race. The chain ferry to Sandbanks will cost £2 so don’t forget to bring that as well as some lights in case it gets dark.

LARP/WARP

Live Action Role Play has grown in popularity in recent years. Not just something for Comicon, our LARPing Society are taking to the streets of Bournemouth in this week long activity. Rocky Horror

Are you interested in absolute pleasure? Our Rocky Horror Society is and they’re looking to do a shadow performance of the film at the end of the year.

But first, they’re going to teach you the Time Warp. Now put your hands on your hips…

Tuesday 20th LGBTQ

Our netball girls are keen to get a team together to continue their great success in the 7s league. Join them and show them what you’ve got.

Circus

The Circus Society can’t wait for you to join them in their troupe. From jugglers to unicyclists, aerial performers to acrobats there is something for everyone and if you’re a complete beginner they’re happy to teach!

Theatre will be running drop-in workshops and games to get you in the performing mood. Great for theatre, great for a laugh!

Film

The Anime Manga and Cosplay Society would like you to join them for a film screening.

Words are powerful, words are fun, the Writing Society harnesses the power of the written word.

Join their twist on the “choose your own adventure” genre and write your own adventure. It can take you anywhere you want.
