COMPANY PROFILE Originally begun by Aubrey Kurlansky in 1991, the company was known as The Loft. We quickly expanded acquiring a diverse client base that encompassed dance, theatre, music, museums and galleries. In 1995 The Loft merged with one of its competitors and was renamed Oxygen. Our client base grew to include: Aldeburgh Foundation, Barbican, BBC Radio, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Capitol Films, Edinburgh Festival, English Heritage, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Museum of London, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Rambert, Royal Academy of Arts, Royal National Theatre, Sadler’s Wells. Oxygen was sold to Splash of Paint in July 2000. Following an invitation, in Nov 2000, to help build an identity for a new orchestra now called Southbank Sinfonia, we launched AKD. Now in its 8th year we have a fully integrated studio in SE London, with all requisite facilities to create memorable print campaigns, online extensions of print campaigns and full multi-media campaigns including DVDs, CD ROMs, audio-visual presentations and videos.
