BENEFITS

PROGRAMS American University of Antigua College of Medicine (AUA), a member of the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH), has formed a unique partnership with Florida International University in order to create two innovative programs designed to provide a U.S. medical education in all the ways that matter:

Students of both AUA–FIU programs can look forward to:

1 AUA GLOBAL HEALTH TRACK PROGRAM

• Completing all core clinical rotations backto-back with FIU faculty at FIU-affiliated teaching hospitals

2

FIU GRADUATE CLINICAL CORE ROTATION CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

Students who complete the Preclinical Sciences component of the Global Health Track program transition to the Graduate Clinical Core Rotation Certificate Program (Clinical Certificate Program). The Clinical Certificate Program is also open to qualified AUA students who did not participate in the Global Health Track Program but still want the advantages of completing clinical clerkships under the auspices of a US medical school.
