Our story begins the night before the wedding. We meet Anjali, our bride-to-be, who recounts her journey leading up to this special day. She is caught between following her heart and managing her family’s expectations. Anjali is apprehensive about sharing her big news, but
reassurance from Rahul gives her the courage to be open with her family. Before she knows it, plans are made. The house swells with relatives, a joyful but overwhelming time for our bride.
Festivities begin with the Haldi , a traditional pre-wedding ritual where turmeric is applied on the bride and groom by family and friends, for good luck. This is followed by the Sangeet, a celebration of music, dance and family bonding. Meanwhile, a watchful eye plots mischief and sabotage amidst the merriment.
The morning dawns, Rahul’s family is brimming with memories of days gone by. But on his journey, the day takes an ominous turn, diverting Rahul from his path. At the wedding venue, whispers turn to worry and questions. Questions turn to conflict. Elsewhere, another kind of fight is underway - one that ultimately leads the groom back to his destiny.
Will Anjali finally get her happily-ever-after?
