A NOTE FROM MR. PIXIE Hello, Besties. I’m so glad you could join us for the World Premiere of Selfie-Conscious. I hope you are ready to open yourself up to participating in this new creation. I also hope you are ready to see your selfie in a new way. But most importantly, I hope you are ready to help make me, Mr. PIXIE, famous on the internet. I am sure there is a deeper meaning to this show than just taking pictures of ourselves, but why would we want to ruin the fun with all that junk? Afterall, how much meaning could a selfie actually contain? So, be prepared to take pictures with your phone and participate as instructed, but be mindful and courteous to audience members around you. Don’t be as Selfie-Centered as me. Enjoy the show!

BIOS Danny Anchondo Jr. (Mr. PIXIE/ Writer/ Composer) Danny is thrilled to be joining the Elevator Project for the first time! He is a singer/songwriter who has performed under the moniker Mr. PIXIE for over 15 years. Mr. PIXIE is committed to creating transformative experiences using a wide range of artistic mediums. Selfie-Conscious is the first musical he has written. As a music director he has worked with The End Theater (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, 2014); The Danielle Georgiou Dance Group (The Bibby Bobby Boo Show; 2020-22) and Theatre Three (Stede Bonnet: A F**king Pirate Musical, 2022). His musical compositions have appeared in productions by DGDG (The Bibby Bobby Boo Show, 2021-22), Theatre Three (The Butterfly’s Evil Spell, 2023), Shakespeare Dallas (The Odyssey, 2024) and OutLoud Dallas (See Me, 2024-25). Mr. PIXIE’s music is available on all streaming platforms where he has released several singles and 3 full length albums including the original recording for Selfie-Conscious. Dante Martinez (Tech 1) The youngest child of immigrants, Dante grew up stomping around the suburbs of Dallas. Dante Martinez is a Dallas-based actor and stand-up comedian. He received his Bachelor of Arts and Science from the University of North Texas. Some of his credits include Leos Theatre’s staged reading of The Leopard Play or Sad Songs for Lost Boys (Taz), Ochre House Theater Mousey (Mr. Mousey) and Ex Voto: The Immaculate Conception of Frida Kahlo (Diego Rivera), University of North Texas Theatre A Lie of the Mind (Baylor), and Amazon Prime This World Won’t Break (Dante). Dante has performed stand-up comedy for 13 years and has self-produced a comedy/music series titled Leper Cult.

Angel G. Ramirez (Tech 2) is excited to be part of Selfie Conscious and grateful for the chance to continue growing as an artist and technician. Previous credits include Danielle Georgiou Dance Group Echoes Scream Whispers (Little Brother), and performing with DGDG in the Dance Indie Dance Festival, where he discovered his love for collaborative and movement-based sto-

rytelling. Angel is currently studying at Dallas College, pursuing a degree in Technical Theater with a focus on stage management and backstage production. In addition to his technical work, Angel is a dedicated member of the Eastfield Dance Company. Through the company, he has been blessed to perform across the DFW area, gaining experience in a wide range of performance styles. Angel is also an active part of Eastfield Theater, serving as stage manager for their last three productions and continuing to build his skills in leadership and production organization. He would like to thank the entire cast and crew for this amazing opportunity.

Felipe Guerrero (Sound Engineer) is a music producer, song-writer, and performer based in the Dallas, TX area. He enjoys helping people to develop their passion for music through recording, mixing and teaching. Felipe has recorded and produced music for his own projects, as well as various local artists and bands for over a decade. He performs actively with his band, Vanilla & Pepper.

Dr. Danielle Georgiou (Choreographer) is a first-generation Cypriot-American interdisciplinary artist working across dance, video, visual art, theatre, pedagogy, and ritual. Her practice emphasizes process, experimentation, play, and failure, often exploring gender dynamics, identity, and the intersections of vulnerability, deformity, and beauty. As a director and choreographer for dance, theatre, film, and opera, her work has been presented locally, nationally, and internationally, including a recent multimedia performance in Crete, Greece. She holds a Ph.D. in Humanities–Aesthetic Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas and has taught at the University of Texas at Arlington, the University of Texas at Dallas, and Southern Methodist University. Currently, she is Professor of Dance, Humanities, and Visual Art at Dallas College, where she directs the Eastfield Dance Company. She is also the Artistic Director of the Danielle Georgiou Dance Group and is represented by Ro2 Art.

Aaron Johansen (Lighting Designer) Aaron Johansen is a Dallas-based lighting designer for theater and live events. Aaron is thrilled to be a part of this production! Previous collaborations have included: Dallas Theater Center;

Dallas Children’s Theater; Second Thought Theater (Artistic Associate); Kitchen Dog Theater (Company Member); Theater Three; Circle Theatre; Stage West; Uptown Players; Cry Havoc Theater Company; Cara Mía Theatre Co and Sweet Tooth Hotel Art installation. Garrett Thompson (Projection Design) is an award-winning projection designer whose work has been featured in venues all over the world. Recent credits include Circle Theatre The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity, Colorado Shakespeare Festival Macbeth, Local Theater Company acts of faith, George Street Playhouse Her Portmanteau, and Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities Frozen and The Laramie Project. He has also designed for children’s theatres and touring productions in South Korea as well as conferences attended by tens of thousands. He gave a TEDx Talk on the subject of how to incorporate live motion picture capture with projection design, with a real emphasis on utilizing different areas of expertise in new and innovative ways, to tell compelling stories. Lauren Wheat (Scenic Designer) is excited to join the Selfie-Conscious team! She is a graduate of Baylor University Theatre majoring in Scenic Design/ Scenic Art and is in the final year of her MFA in Scenic Design at SMU. She has designed at a variety of DFW theatre companies including Dallas Children’s Theater, Theatre Three, Stage West, Dallas Theater Center, and Shine Performing Arts Studio, and has worked as a Scenic Artist for WaterTower Theatre and Uptown Players. Lauren would like to thank her family and her parents for their endless love and support.

Gabriela Leodiou (Stage Manager) is beyond thrilled to join another exciting Elevator Project with Selfie-Conscious! She is excited for the audience to experience what Mr. PIXIE has in store for this rendition of the show.
