A NOTE FROM THE

Editor Greetings, my beautiful Attentionistas. Welcome to the Autumn 2026 edition of Attention SL Magazine. There’s a moment each year when the grid shifts. The light turns golden, the leaves start to fall, and everything feels a little softer and more reflective. This issue is our love letter to that season. Every spread in these pages, whether it’s fashion, decor, or a new location, has been chosen to capture that warmth, from layered knits and rich textures to cozy interiors and landscapes worth getting lost in. Our cover story celebrates EDITORIAL, a fashion group and directory showcasing some of the best models in Second Life™. What sets them apart is how they embrace the newest tools available to create polished, striking looks without ever losing what makes each model unique. The best styling doesn’t erase the person wearing it. It lets them shine, and EDITORIAL shows how to do exactly that. We also bring you the LUXE Paris Look of the Day Contest, where creativity and personal style take center stage. Entries are inventive and confident, and a reminder of how much talent is in this community. So pour something warm, settle in, and enjoy the issue. And as always, we thank you for being a part of our community, and for continuing to Pay Attention.

A. | 74 | ATTENTION SL

To speak about EDITORIAL, I inevitably must speak a little about myself. Not because this story should revolve exclusively around Daniel Salvatore Salvetti, but because EDITORIAL was born from a vision that began long before it became an organization. AUTUMN 2026 | 75 | A.

EDITORIAL. With EDITORIAL, I decided to bring to a fashion organization in Second Life™ something I had never seen structured in quite that way before: editorial fashion not merely as an aesthetic for creating a photograph, but as an identity, a language and the very foundation of an organization dedicated to selecting, representing and developing models through an editorial perspective. That is where this story truly begins. And it is also where the question I am still asked today begins: What exactly is EDITORIAL looking for? The answer is not as simple as describing a face, a body, a style or a career. To understand what EDITORIAL seeks, perhaps we must first understand what it means to build an identity in a virtual world.

I arrived in Second Life™ in 2014, and almost

from my very first months I participated in fashion and projects that sought to offer something different for their time. Among them was “The Fantasy Angels”, the first and original company of its kind devoted to angels in Second Life™, inspired by a widely recognized concept from the real-world fashion industry. I had the opportunity to be part of it as co-owner. That experience was one of my earliest encounters with building fashion projects in this world.

I have spent more than ten years connected, in one way or another, to the fashion industry in Second Life™. That does not mean ten uninterrupted years. Real life exists. Responsibilities exist, and there have been times when I needed to step away. But fashion has remained a professional discipline to which I have returned time and again.

Then came my own journey as a model, my training, my work with imagery and, eventually, the need to develop a proposal that would fully reflect my own vision.

My experience in fashion also exists beyond Second Life™. I have had the opportunity to develop professionally within the industry in real life, and that inevitably shapes the way I understand models, castings, image-making, production and fashion itself. Yet when I discovered fashion in Second Life, I still had to learn something fundamental:

In 2020, that vision acquired a name:

Who was Daniel Salvatore Salvetti going

A. | 76 | ATTENTION SL

to be? Not simply what he would wear. Not which skin, hair or shape he would use. Who was he going to be? Building an Identity Many years ago, I understood the importance of building something beyond the appearance of an avatar. An avatar can be changed in minutes. We can change a face, body, hairstyle, skin, or style; building a recognizable presence requires something else:

intention, consistency and time. Over the years, I came to understand that this is where identity begins. It is not simply about projecting our personalities through an avatar. It is about creating an image with enough character, intention and continuity to be recognized as our own. A presence capable of evolving without losing what makes it distinctive.

avatars. A model cannot ignore that evolution, but evolving should not mean erasing yourself. That has always been one of my greatest challenges: to evolve without ceasing to be Daniel. Perhaps one of the most revealing tests of identity in Second Life would be this: If every name above our heads disappeared tomorrow, would we still know who was who? To me, that question matters.

“If every name above our heads disappeared tomorrow, would we still know who was who?”

When I began modelling, I looked at the real-world fashion industry and asked myself a simple question: If Daniel Salvatore Salvetti stood alongside models from the real-world industry, could his image speak the same visual language? I wanted to build a recognizable face. Masculine. Strong. Distinctive. But being different was not enough. I wanted to create a visual identity capable of surviving change. Second Life™ has transformed enormously. Mesh arrived. Heads evolved. Skins became increasingly sophisticated. Rendering improved. Photography changed. Today we have creative and technological possibilities that simply did not exist years ago, profoundly transforming how we build, present and photograph our AUTUMN 2026 | 77 | A.

There are people in Second Life™ — creators, photographers, DJs, personalities, content creators, models and professionals across many disciplines — whose names immediately conjure an image in our minds.

Perhaps that is why I have never been particularly interested in proclaiming anything for myself. Top Model. Supermodel. Icon. I would rather let my work speak for me.

We recognize the face before reading the name, or we hear the name and immediately see the face. That is identity. That is a signature. And in fashion, that can become a brand.

My name needs little introduction when my work has already spoken before I do.

A Model Is More Than a Beautiful Avatar

Technology has made it increasingly possible to create extraordinarily attractive avatars, but beauty alone does not make a model. Neither does entering a competition. Nor winning a title. A competition can be an extraordinary beginning. For an established model, a title may become another achievement within an existing career. For someone starting out, it can open a first door. But a career is defined by what happens afterwards. A modelling career demands time, preparation, discipline, consistency, evolution and work. Sometimes years of work. Nobody becomes a fully developed model overnight. And here I believe we need to recover something that has become less visible in certain corners of our industry: a culture of effort. There is nothing humiliating about attending a casting. There is nothing beneath an experienced model in presenting themselves again and demonstrating what they can do. I have done it. Throughout my own career, I have taken part in castings and competitions. Sometimes I succeeded. Sometimes I did not. Rejection does not erase what you built before. Success does not guarantee what comes next. Fashion — virtual or real — demands the ability to keep going. A. | 78 | ATTENTION SL

And there is something even more important: My reputation is written in what I have built over more than ten years of experience. I do not need to keep reminding myself who I am or convincing others of what I have achieved. If a career must constantly be explained in order to exist, perhaps it has not yet spoken loudly enough for itself. Titles and labels carry far more meaning when they come to conclusions that other people reach after seeing our work overtime. Not everyone will recognize your career. Nor do they have to. The value you recognize in yourself cannot depend on the labels other people choose to give you. But your work remains. Its quality remains. And when work endures over time, it ultimately builds a story. Commercial and Editorial: Two Different Languages There is another essential distinction to understanding EDITORIAL. A great model can work within vastly different visual languages, and one of them does not necessarily have to be editorial.

were considered. Does this person have an identifiable visual signature? Can their faces sustain an editorial concept? Is there presence? Is there character? Is there an identity that stands out within an image? Can they evoke desire, curiosity or emotion? Because before presenting a garment, a model presents an image. And that image must be visually desirable, capture attention and give whatever the model is wearing a new dimension. Before an image can acquire that power, it needs identity. That does not mean someone who does not currently fit EDITORIAL’s visual language is a bad model.

“Before an image can acquire that power, it needs identity.” What EDITORIAL Looks For

Commercial fashion and editorial fashion serve different purposes. Commercial modelling generally seeks immediate communication with a broad audience and a clear, appealing and desirable presentation of a product. Editorial fashion works differently. Editorial modelling is built around concept, character, visual narrative, attitude and presence. It often looks for distinctive rather than universally conventional faces capable of carrying styling, photography and creative direction without disappearing behind them. Neither is superior to the other. They simply speak different visual languages. EDITORIAL is built around that second language: fashion as image, concept, identity and expression. That is the context in which our selected models

When EDITORIAL returned in 2026, the selection process was never intended to create the largest possible roster. Quite the opposite. We deliberately wanted something limited. A smaller organization allows us to protect something that becomes progressively harder as numbers grow: attention. Attention to the individual. Attention to the image. Attention to quality. And attention to opportunities. There are many extraordinary models in Second Life™ who are not currently represented by EDITORIAL. Some were considered during this first stage. Some may become part of future stages. Others may decide that EDITORIAL simply is not where they wish to be. None of these possibilities diminish their work. Not receiving an invitation is not a judgement on an entire career. And receiving an invitation will not be the only possible route in. There will be castings. Some established professionals may be AUTUMN 2026 | 79 | A.

invited directly at separate times. Others may choose to take part in a selection process. Others may decide not to. A casting should never be interpreted as an insult to someone’s career. Sometimes one of the greatest demonstrations of professional confidence is accepting that, regardless of what we have previously achieved, our work can still be evaluated again. EDITORIAL’s doors are not designed to remain closed. We will continue to seek diversity, identity, image, quality, responsibility, professionalism, consistency, respect, recognition of our own work and that of others, gratitude and the ability to contribute positively to a collective project. We seek people who add value. And for me, this is non-negotiable:

Someone who consistently undermines a project, their colleagues or the work of others has no place in EDITORIAL. No matter how talented they may be. No matter how many titles they hold. No matter how many years of experience they can present. Before being a great model, one must also know how to be a great professional. Talent matters enormously, but talent alone does not build an organization. Individual excellence should never come at the expense of the collective environment.

The Price of Having a Vision of Your Own

Having a vision of your own also comes at a price. I have learned that over the years. When you build something recognizable, you inevitably expose it to others who will see it, interpret it and, at times, reproduce it. I have seen ideas, concepts, structures and ways of working that were part of projects I developed subsequently appear in other forms and under other names. And there is a difference between inspiration and reproduction. I do not need to turn that distinction into a battle. For a long time, seeing something you built later appear elsewhere can be frustrating. Over the years, however, I have learned to look at it from another perspective. If something you create begins to

A. | 80 | ATTENTION SL

become a reference point, it means it has been seen. And when other people recognize the similarity without your having to point it out, your work has probably already left a mark. That is why one idea now perfectly sums up this experience for me:

An idea can be copied. A career cannot. An aesthetic can be reproduced. A structure can be reproduced. Someone can try to reproduce the way a project is presented, but there is something far harder to reproduce: the creative process that made that idea possible in the first place. Because someone with a genuine vision does not depend on a single idea. They can create the next one. And then another. Building a vision also means accepting that not everyone will share it. And I am comfortable with that. I do not need everyone to understand EDITORIAL. I do not need everyone to agree with the way EDITORIAL operates. And I do not need to change its identity to gain external approval. An organization that knows what it wants to be must also know what it is unwilling to sacrifice simply to please everyone. Criticism can be heard. Disagreement can exist. But neither can become the compass that decides our identity. Being Selected Does Not Mean You Have Arrived

Being selected for EDITORIAL does not represent the end of a journey, but rather the beginning of a new responsibility.

Excellence does not preserve itself. It takes work to maintain it. We must continue learning, evolving, producing and proving why we were once considered capable of meeting a particular standard. That is why one sentence perfectly captures what I expect from those who belong to EDITORIAL: Being selected recognizes a moment in your career. Remaining relevant requires you to keep building it.

“Being selected recognizes a moment in your career. Remaining relevant requires you to keep building it.” Joining an organization and assuming that you have reached a place where you no longer need to prove anything is a very quick way to stop evolving. No title should be somewhere to rest. No invitation should become a permanent guarantee. No career should be used as an excuse to stop growing. And here something fundamental returns: reciprocity. A model brings value to EDITORIAL. But EDITORIAL must also bring value to the model. This is not about deciding who needs whom more. It is not about establishing who is more important, it is about understanding that a professional relationship works when both parties build something they could not create in quite the same way individually. Talent strengthens an organization. A good organization creates opportunities for that talent to keep developing. Each contributes to the other. Belonging Is Not the Same as Contributing

Having great names within an organization can be impressive, but names alone do not AUTUMN 2026 | 81 | A.

produce anything. That is why I do not want EDITORIAL’s value to be measured solely by who belongs to it. I want it measured by what we can build with the people who belong to it. Our models represent one of EDITORIAL’s greatest assets. But they are not the only ones. There is direction. There is production. There is image-making. There is strategy. There are relationships. There are ideas. And there are opportunities we have yet to create. The question should not simply be: Who is in EDITORIAL?

The genuinely interesting question is: What will EDITORIAL do with all the value that already exists within it? That is where the real work begins.

Nobody Builds a Career Entirely Alone

There is another lesson my years in fashion have taught me. Sometimes we look back at our careers in this industry and convince ourselves that we built everything alone. We did not. Someone built the first runway we walked. Someone organized the casting. Someone opened an agency. Someone taught a class. Someone produced the photograph. Someone designed the clothes. Someone created the magazine. Someone opened a door. And someone believed in our work before many others even knew who we were. Acknowledging that does not diminish our own achievements. What we build afterwards belongs to us. But gratitude is also part of a professional career. Being grateful does not mean spending your life listing every person who ever did something for you. It means having enough perspective to recognize that we did not reach every destination entirely alone. A platform can give you a stage. A person can give you knowledge. An organization can give you exposure. A photographer can help you build an image. A designer can entrust you with their work. An opportunity can put you in front of people who previously did not know your name. What you do with all of that is then up to you. That is why I reject the idea of setting models against organizations. A great organization needs extraordinary talent. And talent benefits from strong platforms capable of creating opportunities, productions, visibility and context. It is a reciprocal relationship. Fashion has always been collaborative.

A. | 82 | ATTENTION SL

Professionalism in a Virtual World

Someone might reasonably ask: Why take all of this so seriously? Because fashion matters to me. It is that simple. Second Life™ may be entertainment for someone else, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. But when we voluntarily choose to develop a discipline in this world—as models, photographers, designers, DJs, producers, stylists, creative directors, creators or in any other role — we can also choose the standard we apply to what we do. Professionalism does not automatically lose its meaning because the environment is virtual. Nobody is obliged to devote their entire life to Second Life™. Real life comes first. Commitment does not mean being online twenty-four hours a day, it means that during the time you choose to devote yourself to something, and as your real life allows, you respect it enough to do it well. Nobody is born knowing how to direct a production, walk a runway, style an editorial, photograph a campaign, or build a fashion organization. We learn. We prepare. We fail. We correct. We evolve. And sometimes we begin again. The medium may be virtual; the standard we choose does not have to be. Preserving Identity, Careers and Memory

EDITORIAL is not just an agency; it is a directory. And that distinction is enormously important to me. A directory can preserve names. It can preserve faces. It can preserve careers. Some of the people currently represented by EDITORIAL have histories approaching two decades. Others

have been here ten years. Others five. And some belong to newer generations already developing extraordinarily clear identities. Those numbers should never become a competition. Five years simply cannot be compared with twenty by counting years. What matters is: What has each person built with the time they have had? That is precisely what I want to preserve within EDITORIAL: not merely a current photograph, but what exists behind it. The career. The evolution. The identity. The work. The memory. Some EDITORIAL members have already written important chapters of their own stories; others are writing them now. And both have value.

AUTUMN 2026 | 83 | A.

What Does EDITORIAL Mean to Me?

Time. That would probably be my first answer. Time invested in thinking, creating, correcting, selecting, producing and rebuilding. It also represents resources. Professional knowledge. Emotional investment. Responsibility. And yes, financial investment too. But value cannot be measured in money alone. We come to understand the value of something differently when we know what it costs us to build. Today, as President & Founder of EDITORIAL, I can say that this is the largest and most important project I have developed throughout my career in Second Life™ fashion. EDITORIAL was born from a vision that began with me, but today it no longer ends with me. Today EDITORIAL is made up of every person who has chosen to be part of it. Every face. Every career. Every story. Every person contributes something to what we are building. EDITORIAL was founded in 2020 and returned in 2026 with a much broader and more clearly defined vision, while continuing to combine what it is already becoming. We do not claim to represent every great model in Second Life™, which would be impossible. Extraordinary professionals exist outside our organization and will continue to do so. We are building something more specific: a carefully curated directory of distinctive identities, outstanding careers and people capable of representing an editorial fashion standard. What Does Success Mean for EDITORIAL?

It does not mean having a hundred models. It does not mean becoming the largest organization. We could have five models A. | 84 | ATTENTION SL

and create something extraordinary with them. Numbers alone will never be enough to define success. What matters is what we do with what we have. What we produce. The opportunities we generate. The images we create. The relationships we develop. The standard we can sustain. What we leave behind. EDITORIAL already has an identity. Our responsibility now is to continue strengthening it. Because, to me, growth has never simply meant getting bigger. It can also mean becoming more precise. More recognizable. More consistent. Better. I am not building the largest organization. I am building an organization that cannot be mistaken for another. And if one day someone does mistake it for another, perhaps it will be because others have begun reproducing what they first recognized in us. I do not need to point out who draws inspiration, who reproduces or who adopts a language that EDITORIAL has spent years developing; time tends to make the origins of ideas quite clear. And if our way of speaking about identity, careers and legacy begins to appear in other spaces, that is not something that keeps me awake at night. On the contrary: it will mean our vision has transcended its own boundaries and become a reference point. Because an incredibly strong identity is not demonstrated by constantly laying claim to it. It is shown by becoming the place others eventually look to. Legacy

One day Daniel Salvatore Salvetti will no longer be active. That is inevitable. And when that day comes, I do not expect everyone to think the same thing about me. They never have. Some people will respect my work. Others will not. Some will have understood my decisions; others never

will. I cannot build my career by trying to control every opinion that exists about me. I can control something else: what I build. And when I think about what I would like to leave behind after all these years, the answer comes down to one word: legacy. I want my name to be remembered for what I built. I want EDITORIAL to be part of what remains. Not because I managed to bring together every model I might once have wanted to represent. Management has real limits, and a serious organization is not built overnight. But because it succeeded in bringing together identities, careers and generations capable of representing something meaningful. I have also learned to choose where I invest my energy. I do not want to build

around rumors. I do not want to build around conflict. I do not want to build around people whose way of relating to others is to constantly belittle, attack or discredit someone else’s work. I stay with those who contribute. And I move away from what diminishes. That, too, is part of the legacy I want to build for EDITORIAL. Because before becoming an excellent model, one must understand something far more fundamental: talent may open a door; attitude often determines how long it remains open. Being Ready When Opportunity Arrives

There is something I have learned through successes, failures, castings, projects and years of working in fashion: you must be ready when opportunity arrives. An opportunity does not replace preparation. It reveals it. If you want to be part of EDITORIAL and you are not here today, keep building. Keep learning. Keep refining your image. Keep developing your identity. Keep creating work that can speak before you must explain it. Perhaps an invitation will come. Perhaps a casting will come. Perhaps your path will ultimately lead somewhere entirely different. But never stop growing simply because recognition did not arrive when you expected it. And if you already consider yourself one of the best, ask yourself an even more interesting question: How can I be better than I was yesterday? That is a question EDITORIAL must also keep asking itself. Because excellence is not a destination we reach and then own forever, it is a standard we choose to maintain.

AUTUMN 2026 | 85 | A.

A. | 86 | ATTENTION SL

“Because excellence is not a destination we reach and then own forever, it is a standard we choose to maintain.” More than ten years ago, I began trying to build an identity for Daniel Salvatore Salvetti that would be recognizable enough for a name above my head to be unnecessary. Today, I am doing something very similar with EDITORIAL. Building an identity. Building a signature. Building a career. Until we reach the point where what we do can speak even before our name has to. Faces will change. Technology will change. Second Life™ will continue to evolve. But if we do this properly, something must remain after all of it: identity. And, eventually, legacy. Conclusion

When I look at EDITORIAL today, I see much more than the project I launched in 2020. I see an idea that has endured, that returned with an even more clearly defined identity and that continues to demonstrate how a vision can evolve without losing what made it different in the first place. And there is a distinction that remains fundamental to me:

EDITORIAL isn’t just a modelling agency; it is a fashion organization. Most importantly, it is a directory. Editorial fashion, of course, existed long before EDITORIAL. I have never claimed to have created a language that belongs to fashion history. What I do claim is authorship of what I built with that language in Second Life™: EDITORIAL as a concept, as an identity, as a structure and as an organization. That was born from my vision. And its creative authorship belongs to me — to Daniel, the person behind Daniel Salvatore Salvetti. That is precisely why I look with pride at what has happened since 2020. A language that we chose to place at the center of our identity now appears with increasing ease in other spaces: photographs described as editorial, productions adopting an editorial narrative, runway shows incorporating that vocabulary and projects exploring concepts that have long been part of the way EDITORIAL understands fashion.

To me, that speaks of influence. Of the capacity of a vision to transcend the project in which it began and, over time, contributed to expanding the way an industry speaks, creates and represents itself. Because perhaps one of the greatest signs that an idea has truly transcended its origins is discovering that its language begins to appear far beyond the place where you first chose to champion it. And that does not worry me, it flatters me. It confirms that what began as a personal vision has succeeded in becoming a reference point.

AUTUMN 2026 | 87 | A.

EDITORIAL is moving forward. It continues to grow, produce, and to define itself. And there is still so much left to build. I do not know how many names will belong to this directory in five or ten years. nor do I need to know. Because I have never measured EDITORIAL’s success by the number of people it can bring together. I measure it by the identity it can build, the work it can produce, the opportunities it can create and, ultimately, the mark it can leave. More than ten years ago, I set out to make Daniel Salvatore Salvetti recognizable even without a name above his head. Today, I am doing the same with EDITORIAL. And perhaps that is the most important connection between my story and the story of this project: First, I built an identity, then, I built an organization around a vision.

Now, I am building a legacy. And if one day EDITORIAL no longer needs to display its name for someone to recognize its language, its imagery or its way of understanding fashion, then I will know that what began in 2020 achieved exactly what it was meant to achieve:

To become a signature. And that signature is EDITORIAL. And EDITORIAL is me and every face that is part of it. A. | 88 | ATTENTION SL

The next edition of LOOK of the DAY will take place on October 17th. The LOOK of the DAY jury is searching for looks that truly represent LUXE Paris fashion. There are few stylistic limitations given LUXE Paris’s commitment to diversity, but the looks must, of course, reflect couture elegance, the brand’s hallmark.

When they launched LUXE Paris 12 years ago, founders Parisian Skytower and Mika Palmyra wanted to make the couture dream accessible. In our photo, the Wallichiana ball gown, presented by Aria Absinthe, LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR 2025.

A complete LUXE Paris outfit, usually including shoes, costs between L$350 and L$400. Even the evening gowns, displayed in an elegant salon in the main store, are not more expensive. The same goes for the house’s extraordinary fur collection.

Is fashion frivolous? By: Mika Palmyra

That shows a profound lack of understanding!

It’s a well-known fact that fashion is a universal language, and our look immediately establishes the kind of person we are when we meet a stranger. Our clothing can also reinvent us, revealing the person we aspire to be rather than the person we truly are. A savvy bohemian will trade her ripped jeans and hippie blouse for a classic little dress or a tailored suit to ask her bank manager for a loan. Fashion, your style, is the most effective business card you can find. And yes, people pay attention to appearances, even if they can be deceiving. And they’re quite right, because our look, whether authentic or contrived, carries a message—the one we want to convey.

FASHION: POWERFUL and MULTIGLOGUISH Fashion is therefore not frivolous, except in the eyes of the ignorant, and if one knows how to wield it well, it can become a powerful and... multilingual communication tool! Fashion can spread joy, beautify life, provoke, make a statement, reassure, charm, snub, love, scream in pain, soothe... Coco Chanel liberated women from the corset by offering a new, relaxed chic. Yves Saint Laurent empowered them by reinventing the men’s tuxedo for them. This fall, at Paris Fashion Week, the Canadian duo Hannah Rose Dalton and Steven A. | 130 | ATTENTION SL

Raj Bhaskaran, creators of the Fecal Matter brand, presented a spectacular runway show composed of monochrome outfits with “99 models of color for 99 looks by a designer of color!” On the runway, taking center stage to deliver a message of hope to all immigrants pursuing a dream of freedom, was the Barbadian singer Rihanna, now a Californian. Canada, a famous immigrant in Trump’s country, 99 Black models in contrast to the super-rich 1%... Does this resonate with you?

YOUR OWN MESSAGE But fashion isn’t just about grand pronouncements and political statements like those on the runways of the major designers. It can also whisper your own personal message, reflecting the colors of your everyday life, your moods, your feelings. AUTUMN 2026 | 131 | A.

STREETWEAR or URBAN STYLE,

born in the 80s and 90s from hip-hop, skateboarding, and surfing culture, emphasizes comfort while projecting a certain attitude and a desire for exclusivity. Hoodies, cargo pants, oversized t-shirts, and sneakers describe someone who wants to stand out while appearing effortless. This style will be more difficult to decipher.

MINIMALIST STYLE

effortless silhouettes in neutral tones, proclaims “less is more” and suggests someone who dislikes fuss and controversy, someone who yearns for tranquility.

A. | 132 | ATTENTION SL

PREPPY STYLE

generally dresses a rather conservative person who appreciates polished looks and the chic of the Old Money. The Oxford shirt, the sweater tied over the shoulders, and the pleated skirt reveal a deep respect for established rules and a horror of chaos and improvisation.

If you have a penchant for

BOHEMIAN CHIC or BOHO STYLE

inspired by the hippie movement of the 70s, you are definitely a nostalgic, often with a poetic soul. Long floral dresses and flowing lace speak to your desire for freedom, both in your movements and in your mind. They also reflect the importance you place on femininity and art.

AUTUMN 2026 | 133 | A.

ROMANTIC STYLE

is woven from soft fabrics like silk or tulle in pastel shades. It is often ruffled or adorned with bows or delicate prints. Naturally, it dresses...romantics, lovers of love, and sensitive souls.

GRUNGE ROCK STYLE

is characterized by the black leather biker jacket, ripped jeans, band t-shirts, and combat boots like the famous Dr. Martens. Those who embrace this style are generally rebellious and reject fleeting trends. They champion authenticity and rawness, face life with nonchalance, and cherish their independence.

A. | 134 | ATTENTION SL

GOTHIC STYLE

features a dark dramatic look rooted to the late 70s post-punk music scene. Goth aficionados adore black punctuated with deep colors like emerald, purple, and blood red on lace, satin, or velvet garments. Chunky platform boots and severe, intense makeup (pale complexion, black eyelids and lips) complete their look. Personality-wise, goths are creative individuals with a philosophical and melancholic view of the world. Often marginalized, they nonetheless display a great open-mindedness.

SPORTSWEAR enthusiast

or more precisely the

TECHWEAR devote

opts for performance clothing like cycling shorts, windbreakers, or high-tech sneakers, even for a trip to the grocery store. He is rational and practical. By dressing his life in innovative textiles and sportswear, he prepares himself to be dynamic and proactive.

AUTUMN 2026 | 135 | A.

FASHIONISTA STYLE

describes someone who closely follows fashion trends. They might be quite conventional, finding a certain security in wearing cutting-edge clothing. But they can also be very daring and enjoy provocation, sporting creations that break the rules like avant-garde look. Obviously, they love being talked about and don’t care whether it’s for good or bad reasons.

A. | 136 | ATTENTION SL

THE COLOR OF OUR MOODS Finally, fashion also reflects our moods. When we get up in the morning and reach for our sky-blue sweater, chances are we’re in a tender mood. Red is often a statement of strength, while black or beige dress us in neutrality, a way of not revealing our true selves. Bright colors generally appeal to us when we’re feeling joyful, while white denotes a desire for purity and freshness. Yes, fashion speaks, and it’s quite the chatterbox. Fashion is a power you’d be wise to harness. Think about that tomorrow morning as you prepare to color the next page of your life. All the clothing shown in this article comes from the LUXE Paris collection, available at: LUXE Paris in Second Life™.

French Onion Meatloaf Ingredients 2 lbs 80/20 Ground Beef: Go for a little fat here—it keeps things juicy. If you have ultra-lean beef, add a drizzle more olive oil or sub in half turkey.. 2 large eggs: These are the “glue” for your loaf. Skipping them risks structural disaster (speaking from experience here!). 2 large onions: Classic yellows or sweet onions work. The key is to slice them thin so they caramelize evenly and quickly. Butter & Olive Oil: Use both for richness and to make sure nothing scorches while the onions break down. This is worth the extra splash, trust me. 2 cloves garlic (optional) 1⁄2 cup dry breadcrumbs: plain or panko works 1 tsp tyme: fresh is better if you have it, but dried works. Salt & Pepper to taist: be generous to save it from being bland. 1 cup beef broth: for the sauce. Chiken broth can work as well. 1/2 cup grated Gruyère Cheese: Swiss or mazzarella are tasty swaps Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or baking dish. Caramelize the onions. In a big skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Toss in all those sliced onions. Stir every few minutes and let them cook down low and slow for 20 to even 30 minutes. You want them deep golden, soft, a little jammy. If they start to brown too much too fast, drop the heat a notch. Add garlic to the onions for the last two minutes, just until it smells mellow and cozy. Spoon out about half your golden pile to cool (these will be your “meatloaf onions”). Leave the rest in the pan for sauce duty later—no need to wash up. Mix up the meatloaf. In your biggest bowl, combine ground beef, cooled caramelized onions, eggs, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire, thyme, a heavy pinch of salt, and black pepper. Mix with clean hands (or a big fork). The trick: go gentle. Overmixing makes things tough. Just fold everything together until streaky but mostly blended. Shape the loaf—plop into your pan and pat into shape. Rustic is perfectly fine. Bake uncovered for about 45 to 50 minutes. If you have a thermometer, 160°F is the magic number inside for juicy and safe. By now, your kitchen will smell pretty much irresistible. Make the onion sauce. Take your leftover onions, set it back over medium heat, and pour in the beef broth. Simmer and scrape up any brown bits. Bubble until slightly reduced, about 5–7 minutes. It should be saucy—not thick like gravy, but it should coat a spoon. Add salt and pepper if needed. Once your loaf is done, scatter Gruyère across the top. Crank the oven to broil and slide it back in for 3–5 minutes, until the cheese gets bubbly and golden. Let it rest Give the loaf a good 10 minutes to chill out; that lets all the juices settle. Serve it up: Cut bigslices and ladle the onion sauce over the top. A. | 152 | ATTENTION SL

Variations: Sub in half ground pork, chicken, or turkey for a lighter version Toss in a handful of finely diced mushrooms (saute them with your onions) Add a dollop of Dijon mustard to the meat mixture for extra French bistro vibes Add a dash of smoked paprika or cayenne in your meat mixture will keep things lively. Toss in grated zucchini or chopped spinach (squeeze out the water first) AUTUMN 2026 | 153 | A.

London Chocolate Caramel Cake Ingredients Whipped Caramel 1 Cup Sugar 1/2 Cup Water 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter 1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 1 tsp Salt 1 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips (or Caramel Chips) Cake 2 Cups All Purpose Flower 1 3/4 Cups Granulated Sugar 1 Cup Dark Cocoa Powder (Extra Brute) 2 tsp Baking Soda 1 tsp Baking Powder 1 tsp Salt 1 Cup Room Temperature Buttermilk A. | 154 | ATTENTION SL

1/2 Cup Mayonnaise (Adds moisture and richness) 1 Cup Hot Coffee (or water) 1/2 Cup Vegitable Oil 3 large eggs (room temperature) 1 tsp Vanilla Extract Frosting 1/2 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream 12 oz Dark or Simi-sweet Chocolate Chips 3/4 Cup Dark Cocoa Powder (Extra Brute) 2 Cups Powdered Sugar (Sifted) 2 Cups Unsalted Butter (slightly chilled) 2 Tbsp Light Cord Syrup (for silky texture) 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 1 pinch Salt

Instructions: Make The Whipped Cream (Day Before) In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar and water. Stir just until the sugar dissolves – then stop stirring. Let the mixture cook without stirring until it turns amber in color (around 350360°F). If you see sugar crystallizing on the sides of the pan, brush them down with a wet pastry brush. Once the caramel is amber, remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the butter, then slowly add the cream while stirring. It will bubble up dramatically, that’s normal. Stir in the vanilla and salt. While the caramel is still hot, pour it over the white chocolate chips in a heat-safe bowl. Stir until completely smooth. Let the caramel cool to room temperature, then place a piece of plastic wrap directly on the surface (to prevent a skin from forming) and refrigerate overnight. Right before you assemble the cake, beat the caramel on high speed until it lightens in color and becomes fluffy and pipeable Bake The Cake Preheat your oven to 350°F. Spray a 9×13-inch light metal cake pan with nonstick spray, line with parchment paper, and spray again. Set aside. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix on low speed until combined. In another bowl, combine the buttermilk, mayonnaise, hot water (or coffee), oil, eggs, and vanilla. With the mixer on low speed, slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry, scraping the bottom of the bowl with a rubber spatula. AUTUMN 2026 | 155 | A.
