The ATS EUIt evaluation process:

Step 1: Determining Your EUIt

▪ An ATS Building Performance Engineer (BPE) who has the credentials and experience required by WAC 19450 will be assigned to your facility.

▪ The ATS BPE will conduct an Energy Star Portfolio ManagerTM review. They will verify data, utility billing, and your building’s Weather Normalized EUI (WNEUI) as required.

▪ The BPE will complete a facility walkthrough to verify your building’s activity types, energy metering, and weekly operating hours.

▪ The ATS BPE will calculate the building’s EUIt and provide a WNEUI vs. EUIt comparison for your facility.

▪ The next steps for compliance will be discussed in a final meeting between your team and the ATS BPE based on the WNEUI vs. EUIt comparison results. Any repairs or upgrades needed to meet your EUIt goals will be discussed at this time.

Step 2: Develop O&M Plan and an Energy Management Plan

▪ ATS has templates, resources, and expertise available to support the development of your O&M and Energy Management Plans.

Step 3: Complete Forms A, B, C, and Submit to Commerce

▪ Complete and submit forms D & F if an energy audit is required.
