ClearWater Solutions has also hired a new Project Manager to oversee the Port Wentworth operation. Jay Jones, was brought on board in January 2023. Jones hit the ground running, assessing the work to be done and putting a productive and efficient plan in place to resolve issues and provide excellent service to the city of Port Wentworth. Jones shared that they have repaired 4 of the 5 main vehicles for operation, and the 5th vehicle is scheduled for repair. He also stated that they will be increasing the dredge work along roadways, and they are working diligently to improve and maintain the right of ways throughout the area. ClearWater has daily calls to ensure that they are resolving all issues and Jones confirmed that they are accepting applications at this time. When asked how he felt about coming into a project with a history of issues Jones replied, “the challenges that we are addressing can and will be resolved. More importantly, we are creating a preventative maintenance strategy that will, proactively, provide service to the residents and businesses in Port Wentworth.
