PUMPKIN: Oh my gourdness, prepare to fall in love with Pumpkin the cat! Made of sugar, spice and all things nice, this big guy was once a house cat posing as a street cat. Originally brought in to be fixed through our TNR program, it didn’t take the VHS long to realize he wasn’t the least bit feral. When his person never came back for him, he was put up for adoption and has been melting hearts in the cageless cat room at the VHS ever since! Pumpkin’s $80 adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip and up-to-date vaccinations. Apply for him online at vhslifesaver.org.

HONEY: Meet Honey, a two-year-old pup who is as sweet as her name! Her previous owner said she was high energy, which is to be expected of a young, smart girl like her. To keep her being the best girl she can possibly be, Honey will need plenty of exercise for both her mind AND body. She is very food motivated, so treats will help a lot with training. If you have other dogs or kiddos in your home, a meet and greet will be required before adoption - ya know, just to make sure everyone vibes. Ideally, her new home will have a fenced-in yard for her to romp around and get some energy out in. Does Honey sound like your kind of gal? Come meet her at the VHS!

NIGHTINGALE: Nightingale is a beautiful two-yearold rabbit up for adoption at the Vanderburgh Humane Society. Not only is she a beauty, she's also probably the softest bunny you’ll ever meet! She is quick to become your friend, does well traveling and stays cool in new situations. And while she won’t sing you a sweet nocturnal song, she WILL become your fast friend for life! Come adopt Nightingale at the VHS for only $50, which includes her spay and microchip.
