GARVIN PARK / THROUGH NEWS YEAR'S DAY

Beloved Easter Seals fundraiser returns, shining bigger and brighter than ever with five new displays and all LED lights!

Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights, a beloved holiday tradition that raises funds for inclusive early education and therapy at the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center, will brighten Evansville’s Garvin Park nightly through New Year’s Day.

The annual drive-through holiday light display event features 70 elaborate scenes, including five new displays! Many displays are animated to give the illusion of movement and - new for this year - ALL of the displays have been transformed with brighter and more energy-efficient LED lights!

Returning this year is the “Polar Bear Express” sponsored by Jim Back, CFP-Financial Advisor at Edward Jones! Guests can ride with Santa Claus on select Tuesday nights (11/30, 12/7, 14 & 21) starting at 5 p.m. During the ride through the park, Santa will read a story about the amazing light displays! Price per person is $5.

Hours for Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights are 5-9 p.m. Sun-Thurs and 5-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Touchless tickets are available at bidpal.net/ritzysfol21. Tickets can also be purchased at the gate or from any Ritzy’s restaurant in Evansville.

Admission per vehicle remains the same affordable price: Up to 6 people $7; 7-14 people $10; 15 or more people $25. Visitors may also take a horse-drawn carriage ride (weather permitting) for $30, which includes admission; no reservations are required or accepted for carriage rides. - Erin Miller
