Late News ImageFIRST acquires Allegiant Linen Services KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. — ImageFIRST, a provider of linen and laundry services specializing in the healthcare industry, reports that it has acquired Tennesseebased Allegiant Linen Services. This acquisition marks ImageFIRST’s first processing plant in the state. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Allegiant Linen Services, founded in 2019, provides comprehensive linen rental and laundry services for hospitality and healthcare businesses throughout Central Tennessee. Allegiant will continue to be led by local leadership and existing associates have been retained as part of the transaction. Existing Allegiant customers will now be serviced by ImageFIRST. ImageFIRST says it has acquired more than 10 organizations across the United States within the past year, making it the largest national linen and laundry provider specializing in the healthcare industry. This strengthened national coverage also supports ImageFIRST’s expanding National Account division as it grows its service offerings to more multilocation accounts.

Sure, rising CPI directly correlates to the cost of financing equipment, but it can also have a significant ripple effect on other cost centers, such as maintenance and repair (M&R). Knowing how to navigate this, as well as understanding your options, can potentially save millions toward your organization’s bottom line. The CPI measures the price of many goods and services, including cleaning products, groceries, clothes, restaurant meals, recreation and vehicles—light vehicles as well as commercial, which many laundry operations use.

According to a recent CPI report, price pressures remained elevated year-over-year. The CPI accelerated 8.3% in April, more than the 8.1% estimate and near the highest level in more than 40 years, according to CNBC.
