As a high school student at Brooklyn Technical High School, Meda's leadership skills and undeniable dancing talent earned her a coveted spot on the Varsity Drill Team, a feat never achieved by a freshman before. Her sophomore year was crowned with triumph as the Varsity Drill Team secured a National Championship, making history as the first predominantly Afro-American team to claim this prestigious title.
Fueling her dream of entertainment, Meda's passion for dancing took her to renowned institutions such as Alvin Ailey and Dance School of Harlem, solidifying her dedication to her craft. Simultaneously, she explored the music scene, working with local rappers at the infamous music producer DR Period's recording studio. Her talent and dedication to her craft caught the attention of prominent figures in the music industry, opening doors to tour with renowned artists like B.I.G, Nas, and Shabba Ranks.
While Meda's performances and tours around the world were a dream come true, her journey was just beginning. Delving further into the music industry, she interned at Loud Records under the mentorship of CEO Steve Rifkind, where she worked on projects with artists like Wu-Tang and Mobb Deep. This invaluable experience propelled her to a prestigious A&R position at Bad
Boy Entertainment, where she played a key role in managing projects for iconic artists like The Notorious B.I.G and Jay-Z.
As her career soared, Meda's expertise and connections caught the eye of Music Industry icon Steve Stoute, leading to her role at Interscope Records/Universal. There, she played a pivotal role in marketing for artists such as Eminem and Black Eyed Peas.
