Watch iconic movies on a 40-foot screen in Atlanta Symphony Hall as the Orchestra performs the film score live! The Movies in Concert series will bring Psycho, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban™, Home Alone and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi to life on the big screen paired with live music from the ASO. On October 12, Alfred Hitchcock’s famed thriller, Psycho, will strike fear into concert goers with its daunting score filled with string shrills. The live music provided by the ASO adds an extra element of immersion that’ll make for a night you won’t soon forget! Calling all wizards! This beloved comedy classic features renowned composer John Williams’ charming and delightful score performed live to picture by the Orchestra. Hilarious and heart-warming, Home Alone is holiday fun for the entire family! For all those Star Wars fans, Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in Concert will take over Symphony Hall on March 13 & 14, 2020! In the spectacular climactic sixth episode of the Star Wars saga, Darth Vader readies the second Death Star to unleash the final blow to the Rebel Alliance. Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) joins his droid allies R2-D2 and C-3PO, along with Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), to free his comrade Han Solo (Harrison Ford), imprisoned by the vile crime lord, Jabba the Hutt.
