By Collin Kelley

“Harry Potter” and “Stranger Things” immersive experiences are opening in Atlanta just in time for Halloween.

“Harry Potter: The Exhibition” will make its second stop on its North American tour in Atlanta, Georgia. The exhibit will open downtown on Friday, Oct. 21, at 200 Peachtree Street.

Thousands of fans saw the exhibition at its world premiere this past February at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, PA. It ranked as one of the most visited exhibitions in the history of the museum.

The behind-the-scenes event celebrates the films and stories of “Harry Potter,” “Fantastic Beasts,” and the expanding Wizarding World, including “Harry Potter and the Cursed

Child.”

Guests can explore crafted environments that honor the iconic moments, characters, settings, and beasts as seen in the films and stories.

Visitors will get an up-close look at authentic props and original costumes from the films and will have the opportunity to engage with innovative, awe-inspiring, and magical environments and installations in ways never before experienced in a touring exhibition.

A multimedia immersive based on the Netflix hit series “Stranger Things,” opens at Pullman Yards in Kirkwood on Oct. 22.

“We know our Stranger Things fans will embrace the chance to be the heroes of the story, working alongside Eleven, Mike and the rest of the gang to fight the evil threatening to consume Hawkins,” says Greg Lombardo, head of experiences at Netflix.

The experience launches guests on an adventure through the darker side of Hawkins, including the infamous Hawkins Lab and the Upside Down.

This brand new storyline, developed exclusively with the Duffer Brothers, propels

guests into a parallel universe where they must unlock their secret powers to help save the town.

After their perilous escape from the Upside Down and Vecna’s curse, fans will be free to explore Mix-Tape, which includes themed food and drinks, exclusive merchandise, and unique photo opportunities.
